Quiet my arse, they were defending it and will continue to do so.
That PAC should delete those two pictures then run the hell out of the ad with a preface saying they removed two pictures that shouldn't have been included because they were AI generated.

Ai images will probably become commonplace in political smear campaigns.
Its not something that shocks me, or is in itself disqualifying. Maybe a bit surprised that desantis campaign is so eager to get down in the schloop to wrastle in pig shite.

The one I'm remembering had video of DeSantis at a podium making a speech, and the AI generated voiceover had him saying things that made him sound like an establishment stooge.
ETA - the video is of DeSantis's CPAC speech in 2022. Here's a transcript for a portion of the AI voiceover (from Politifact)'

To be fair to DeSantis, he won't ever know this happened. Just like he will never know what's going on at anytime during his campaign, and if elected his administration. It's the perks of being an empty suit puppet. Just read the script Ron.

My D.L. says 6'2" and 220 and I'm actually 6'3 1/4" and 242. What we say isn't always exactly accurate.
