Sorry to hear, I know it's rough.
I went bankrupt in after the 2008 crash when tourism collapsed out west. The government bailed out most of the assholes who actually caused the damn collapse, along with big companies like GM, and let the little guys like me, who had zero to do with it, rotting by the road. I'm in my early 40s and have the finances if someone who just entered the workforce.
Keep your head up and take it a day at a time...

If it was about government spending the programs being blamed would be the two that comprise by far the single biggest federal expenditures in the budget, not something that reflects a tiny fraction of the budget.

There was an almost 30% increase in Chapter 11 filings for small businesses in September 23 versus September 22.
There was a 16% increase in commercial bankruptcies for the same interval.
