Was voter turnout higher in 2019? If so, more motivated voters showing up for Dem candidates would be the most logical conclusion.

Imagine living in a 90% Democrat shithole.

Voter turnout was 32% higher in 2019 compared to the last gubernatorial election in 2015 resulting in 31,000 more votes roughly
End result - Respone received a tad less votes than Vitter and JBE received the entire bulk of 31,000 new votes at 100%
Not very plausible

It wouldn't have mattered, but damn, they didn't need to cheat THAT much.
That is just a little excessive. They must have thought it was going to be closer.

I hate JBE, but it is not correct to say he outperformed Obama based on percentages alone without knowing turnout. It’s just a percentage of votes cast in this election, not a total tally. What this tells me is that JBE voters were the only ones to turn out at the polls, which is a different shady issue altogether.
So JBE got 114k votes. How many did Obama get? I suspect way more than 114k??

There are very few conservatives left in Orleans.
It makes sense that Republicans who would never vote for Obama, are fine with JBE.
All the people on this board that want to hang JBE in with the likes of Pelosi and Schumer... that didn't work because there is nothing in JBE's past to show that he's some far left radical.
The election was lost because Republicans voted for JBE or stayed home.
We are the most RINO state in the south.

Edwards got 114,812 (90%)
Obama got 126,722 in 2012 (80%)
Obama got 127,102 in 2008 (79%)
Good catch
