In 2022, how does the civilized world sit back and let some superpower simply overrun a small country? Why doesn't the global community respond to such aggression? Did we not learn anything from Nazi Germany,??? I don't want to be in a war overseas...but what the frick?

It was the aggression of the UN that angered Putin. He has been warning them to not put a UN nation on his border.

Power is determined by a countries resources. Europe has taken the climate change bait, hook line and sinker.
Europe depends on Russia for pretty much all their natural gas.
