I'm anticipating dems will vote down USMCA in house, despite mex and canada voting for it

They don't want to help give trump a "win", despite it helping stabilize markets and gives dairy producers in America more access to foreign markets.
It would be a reprehensible legislative decision, but if they vote it down, they can then brag that trump "failed" on reforming NAFTA.

Mostly I agree ... but I think them voting it down would hurt them more than they think when elections come next year

I hope they vote it down. It was give Trump another talking point

It will further prove that they don't give a frick about the people of this country.

Pelosi has to bring it to the floor, and she is dragging her feet.
If they voted it down it would be terrible for the dems, if they dont vote on it....no one will know the difference for at least a year, they will just assume its some procedural thing, not the dems fault.
It is a shame, every day delay is hurting Americans, simply so they can piss off Trump. What the frick has happened to our legislators?

Moderate democrats will have to vote for it so it will pass if it goes up for a vote . The moderate democrats in the house need to get something done before re-election.

I assume just a person with an opinion like every one else on this Board.
The democrats in the house had to come into line and accept a vote on the Senate version of the request for extra funding for the border. The Resistance in the US House is coming up against the reality that they have to stand for election soon enough. Not all the resistors come from bulletproof districts. The House will pass the USMCA.

Most likely.
They are as antiAmerican as a group can possibly be.

Are anti-American...of course they'll vote something down that benefits America

Then Trump will promptly cancel NAFTA.

Art of the Deal 101. Give yourself many paths to victory and no paths to failure. In this scenario, Trump wins either way. The Dems shoot it down? They get booted out in 2020. They pass it? Huge feather in his cap plus he gets to say he made them so as he says and they probably get booted out anyway.

That’s a good way to get voted out of the House in 2020.
Trump will place blame solely on Dems and Americans know he finalized the deal and did his part

Nancy will not be leading the charge to vote it down, that seems something more like AOC's shtick.
Nancy may well drag her feet on this to delay another Trump win until after the election but the election is far enough away that it gives Trump a win either way.
If they drag their feet, waiting until after the election to pass it, Trump and every GOP and Indy candidate as well as non-incumbent Democrats can run on how the Dems in the House are sacrificing American jobs for the sake of politics. Trump will brow-beat the frick out of any opposition with it, especially if GDP drops and/or Unemployment goes back above 4%. Whether contrived or not it will be used as a boogeyman and House Democrats will suffer seats for it. One of the biggest issues is that it will help keep the Rust Belt voting for Trump's re-election.
If they pass it, individual Dems can use it in their re-election rhetoric but most voters will know who was ultimately responsible for it (Trump will definitely run on it either way). While this option gives Trump more of a win going into the re-election, some Dems can at least ride his coattails on it.
tl;dr - Trump wins either way on this one. The only thing for the Dems to decide is do they want to be able to run on having passed this or are they willing to lose seats due to politics.

I'm an idiot but I thought the Senate had to vote on treaties.

This was shaping up to be a pretty good thread but you may be correct.
