Calling this Marxism is being obtuse. This is all corporate-driven. Corporations see a means to keep profits rolling in by pushing diversity so they do it. Megacorporations run this country, not politicians.

When a company makes a hire you don’t agree with its discrimination, but when you openly and actively discriminate against potential hires of a certain nature it’s progress?

I think labeling everything in the grocery store as lbgtq or minority owned is going to backfire. The reason they are doing this is because of ESG scores. They are being pressured by government to do this. Airlines tripped over themselves to come out against Georgia because they rely on government handouts. Somebody told them to do it. Banks will stop giving companies loans, etc. We are talking about a very minority population here that is being catered to. I fail to see how this will help corporations. This is being forced on the American people by radicals

I would argue that they are deliberately misusing the term. Their war against western culture is one on multiple fronts, and in this case they are locked in a death struggle against the English language.
Just like they've redefined "racism" to mean "Anything said by a white person about a non-white individual perceived to be uncomplimentary or negative, even if true," they have redefined "diversity" to mean "Non-white".
Ironically enough, with their penchant for globalism, "one world" nonsense, white folks are a minority, in the grand scheme of things.
