Probably not.
Am I escaping something or pursuing some sort of opportunity?
If I'm escaping something obviously the US might be the better choice as something is wrong where I am. If I'm pursuing an opportunity then an opportunity obviously exists in the US, and if I value that opportunity it's a good choice.
If I'm casually deciding where to live and I don't mind being in a majority Christian / non Muslim country then I wouldn't mind. If I don't want that and am against bikinis and women driving probably not the best move

I would be apprehensive about moving around the middle east. They love killing other Mooslims for being the wrong kind.
