If you think DJT poll numbers are bad you haven't seen Pence, Ryan McConnell's and others.

Literally just exist with an (R) next to his name

ETA: there's also the strand of hysterical SJW's who are convinced that he hunts and kills gays in his free time

Yeah, nothing unfair about this polling at all.

To get better poll results for Democrats.

Apparatus they weight the results to reflect the populous however I don't know why they just can't poll a R/D/I ratio that reflects the populous ratio almost exactly.

as far as pence, i don't think it's what has he done, it's more of what he hasn't... the way i see it, many are waiting for him, as an experienced politician with a more even temper, to speak out on some of these incendiary issues with a more moderate or "normal" response... and he really hasn't, or if he has, it's being overly dominated by anything and everything Trump and, now, Bannon...

playing devil's advocate, but i thought it doesn't matter what polls say anyway? why care now about what they say, and even if you don't, why care about how many of each group were polled?

He has spoken out on the C'ville issue. However Pence is so unexciting he is like a mouse in a lion's den. You tend not to notice.

And republicans still think repeal is a political non-starter.

Amazing how small the Republican sample size is.

Why not just use an equal scale instead of tipping it for the Dems? And dont give me the "its representative of the electorate" because its not. Cali and New York tip the scales...thats it. The rest of the country is damn near split evenly

It just depends on the poll.

The Trafalgar Group has been great.

MSM polls are design to build a foundation for media driven narratives. They have been very wrong especially polling Trump and Brexit. That does not mean they are not useful. You can still track trends with un-accurate polls as long as the methodology stays consistent. You just have to be aware that there is an agenda behind MSM polling. They become really irrelevant when their methodologies change like Reuters did during the GOP primaries.

Republicans control the House, Senate, 32 state houses and majority of state legislatures and it's somehow legit to poll Dems over repubs almost 2 to 1.

Seems legit.

He's more religious and conservative than Trump.

Trump sucks all the oxygen and right now is the lightning rod for democrats. But make no mistake: they fricking hate Pence. If Pence ends up running for president after Trump you will see just how much they hate him.

Some people still don't get it and I don't know if they just haven't been around long enough but this is what the democrats and msm do...they demonize republicans, hate them, and target them for destruction.

You couldn't get a more milquetoast, genteel, gentleman than GHWB. The media called him a racist. He was blamed for the 1992 LA riots after the Rodney King verdict. It was like a carbon copy of what they are saying today: Bush's reaction was unacceptable and sympathetic to racists. All he did was appeal for calm and said that our jury system had to be respected. The media said he basically approved of police murdering black people.

Magic Johnson quit the president's committee on health because he said Bush didn't care about AIDS patients. The media hammered Bush daily on it: Bush doesn't care about AIDS patients...by extension Bush hates gay people.

I've seen this all before. It's nothing new and I'm not surprised by it. The difference is that Bush didnt know how to fight back. He wasn't a good communicator, he couldn't reach the people and inspire them over the media. He was GOPe...he felt it was unseemly to fight tooth and nail. And he felt he shouldn't have to fight for it, that Bill Clinton was beneath him.

Thankfully we have a president now that can take on the media and drive them nuts.
