...buy his book.
I got it on my Kindle for about $12. The first few chapters on Venezuela were good but I already knew a lot about it. The next chapters on Scandinavian countries were great.

Or like me you can download it from the Libby app and send it to your Kindle reader.
Libby is connected to your local library. If you have a library card you can check out library books from your smartphone.

I don't like Rand Paul
I am a Russell Kirkian orderist, not a Libertine

Zach, do you know if Rand has family members employed in these non-Congressional related ventures like Ron did? The Paul’s seem to capitalize on money making ventures outside of office while proclaiming themselves political outsiders.
I am all for someone making money and I agree with a lot of what they say, but it has always struck me as hypocritical.
An example would be Ron claiming he was for term limits but he kept coming back for multiple terms even after losing and even tried to make the jump from the House to the Senate.
Another would be him not taking his Congressional salary while capitalizing on this fact via outside ventures such as the Newsletter. It was his way of Marketing the newsletter and building his brand.

Which is exactly why the money spent on the ridiculous BR downtown library was a farce.

Yes, wanting to have free trade with other countries is certainly "isolationist" if you're not going into debt bombing them.
No, but standing with your finger in your arse, as islamofascists, the red chinese, or the russians, conquer and then subjugate the very people you want free trade with certainly is.

If action is warranted, all you have to do is follow the Constitution and have Congress declare war, like when Ron Paul voted for action in Afghanistan.
Right. Because we all know congress will do what is right, and at the right time, especially this congress. I doubt Trump could get this congress to vote that the sky was blue.

As opposed to "War, Empire and the Rise of American Socialism." The desire to rule and police the world is an obnoxious and authoritarian impulse that has nothing in common with the concepts of living your own life without government interference.

If it’s anything like the bills he submits in Congress, the book has no greater than a 2nd grade vocabulary and is written in crayon.

The warhawks in this thread would sooner pull the lever for a "real conservative" like Romney or McCain instead of one of the only men in Congress who actually wants smaller government.

You must not pay Federal Income Taxes.
If hating taxpayer money being given to other countries is isolationism , I am all for it.

You guys sure like to self-flagellate with false narratives like this. I bet there isn’t more than a handful of posters here, who would prefer McCain or Romney over Paul. It’s a stupid extrapolation, because almost all would certainly prefer McCain or Romney over Obama.
Your other favorite is to pretend there would have been no difference between them, which only illustrates for people like me that you aren’t even serious. Sure, all of them were shite candidates, but we are still finding out ways that Obama worked to destroy this country, three years down the road.

Did RP ever win his home state in any of the primaries he was in?

That speaks volumes about Republicans, not Ron Paul. The only thing the average Republican fears worse than a Democrat is an actual conservative.
