If Trump is a reaction to Obama, did you not think there would be a reaction to Trump?

PA-18 is just the beginning. The right is making the same mistake the left made with Obama.

As long as their name isn't Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Corey Booker, or Bernie Sanders

I think Trump was more a reaction to the possibility of Hillary running our country.

Reagan fixed Carter's socialism and there was no voter over correction nonsense.

The country continued to vote (R) because they bettered the country until they didn't.

Rightfully so.

That cat in PA who won is Trump, only with a ‘D’ after his name.
To answer your question: Yes, Trump’s presidency will likely energize the Democrat base.

You think Dems are going to run on a tax increase for Nov 18 and think citizens are going to lay down and accept it, now that they have seen the extra $$ in their paychecks?

Every special election since Nov 8 has been about a Trump referendum. Democrats have won against a Pedo and PA. Georgia 6th had tens of millions of donor money against a couple hundred thousand and didn't get the job done.

The PA democrat positions are more conservative than many current republican congressional members.. Are you saying that he lied just to get elected and will follow Pelosi, Schumer and all the others like a good little soldier?

The reaction to DJT is being played out everyday in the msm and in those invested in supporting the two major parties. You saw two parties fight against Trump in getting the nomination.
Silly to ask now about a reaction.
It's been ongoing.

The mistake of both political parties, especially Trump's own, is that they have somehow convinced themselves that it was not Trump's policy positions that got him elected.

The Ds convinced themselves that all Trump voters are racists.

The Rs are delusional and think that the fact that Hillary sucks so bad is the only reason Trump got elected, and continue to believe that they have some mandate for their globalist policies, particularly immigration and trade. When the REVERSE is true.

If the PA election proves anything, it's that adopting Trump's policy platform is successful for either party in the midterm. The fact that the GOP continues to refuse to dance with the one that brung them - is eternally mystifying.

I have liked most of Trump’s policies and I’m damn glad he beat out Crooked, but he can be an alpha without being such a dick all the time. It really would be better if Trump could tame his petulant narcissistic tendencies.
