I would have been fine with it if they didn’t also do the social distancing and lockdown bullshite. But now that they fricked us and the economy in the arse with that, I’m not playing along with the mask bullshite.

Private citizens started social distancing en masse long before any lockdowns.

The funniest thing is that they said masks wouldn’t help all through March and April.

It’s all just a show, the masks don’t do anything unless you have a N-95 mask anyway.

Right.

Just don't put you fingers in your nose, eyes or mouth until you wash them and you should be fine.

So much for being sure healthcare has its supply of masks.

I walked a hospital daily with no mask from March until mid-June when this COVID DEATH MONSTER KILLER VIRUS was at its supposed peak. Now all of a sudden it's mandatory.

Gave blood Monday and I had the COVID antibodies, too.

I'm going to keep posting this:

Why didn't Fauci just tell everyone to use a scarf when he said masks don't work if it was to save masks?

I said this in a thread this morning. They have played control games throughout all of this and people don’t want to follow along as a protest, if you will.

When it comes down to it, if it makes people more comfortable for others to wear a mask, people will be accommodating. But the governments have proven to be partisan, inconsistent and have made bad judgment calls throughout this process, so I don’t blame people one bit for ignoring their mandates.

OSHA explains that cloth face coverings “will not protect the wearer against airborne transmissible infectious agents” because of the loose fit and the lack of a seal or inadequate filtration.

Oh Kemosabe !

There were not enough masks for hospitals, you think they were going to push them on the general public?

Right.

Early on, healthcare organizations lied about effectiveness of masks because they had unexpected supply interruption, and did not want public hoarding furthering PPE shortages for healthcare workers. Well-intended perhaps, but a lie nonetheless. The problem is credibility is fleeting. One lie and it's gone.

My EXACT thoughts ... and ok so Fauci said "don't use masks" to leave them for the medical people. FINE. BUT AT THAT TIME, they should have said to "use a face covering". To start this NOW is total bullshite.

Exactly... an old tee shirt, a handkerchief, a kitchen towel, any piece of cloth something would do the same thing. I don't get how anybody can still believe anything these idiots tell us. Fauci and mostly the media. It's all bullshite. But some will continue to hang on every word the msnbc, CNN and networks tell them. Really fricking pathetic. The media and the ones that believe those assholes.

Those companies that changed their factories and made the mask want to sell them and get paid now and have the politicians in their pockets .
