Thousands of years old and still relevant today.

If anyone tried to be Moses today, the justice department would send the ATF and FBI to his compound, burn it down, and kill everyone.

quote:

Either that, or modern day Moses would take his flock to some wilderness and make them all drink poisoned kool aid.

So you make two obvious references to cases where neither of the individuals was a leader ordained by God and instead was a part of a cult. I’m not taking about someone trying to be Moses, I’m talking about a literal individual inspired by God with God’s hand of protection on them.

Time for churches to stop being thermometers and start being thermostats.

keep asking myself this question: How can this many Americans be this stupid and naive?
Pretty simple answer, really.

A) All through college where many of these people were being indoctrinated, they were told that they are smarter than the rest of America by believing this leftist propaganda.

B) Many that didn't go to college, choose to look up to celebrities and musicians who are rich and tell those people that they're doing the right thing by believing.

It's 100% gaslighting.

In spite of David’s sins he was willing to be used to advance God’s work. You think he is comparable to the Clinton’s and the Biden’s? Show me where they have demonstrated willingness to carry on God’s work. I’d say he is more comparable to Trump.
Why did God forbid David from building the temple?

quote:

King David desired to build a temple for the Lord and he told the prophet Nathan: “See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of the covenant of the Lord is under tent curtains” (1 Chronicles 17:1). David did not feel right that the Ark of the Covenant that resembled the presence of God resided in a tent. Instead, he wanted the Ark to reside in a more impressive structure.

God’s Response
Nathan was pleased with David’s plan for building a temple to the Lord (1 Chronicles 17:2). But the Lord had other plans and told Nathan: “Go and tell My servant David, ‘Thus says the Lord: “You shall not build Me a house to dwell in” (1 Chronicles 17:4).

quote:

God’s Reason
The Lord later gave the reason for his refusal to allow David to build the house in 1 Chronicles 22:7-8. Instead, that job would go to his son, Solomon. “And David said to Solomon: ‘My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build a house to the name of the Lord my God; but the word of the Lord came to me, saying, ‘You have shed much blood and have made great wars; you shall not build a house for My name, because you have shed much blood on the earth in My sight.’” David shed much blood in war defending Israel so the promise went to his son who was more peaceful (1 Chronicles 22:9, 1 Chronicles 28:3). God’s house was to be associated with peace, not war, for it is a “house prayer for all nations” (Isaiah 56:7).

quote:

God’s Assurance
Rather than David building a temple, God decided to allow David’s son to oversee this work (1 Chronicles 28:11–12). God promised to be a Father to David’s son when he would continue as king (2 Sam. 7:13-14). David’s response to the promise was to praise the Lord saying: “You, Lord, are God! You have promised these good things to your servant. Now You have been pleased to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue forever in Your sight; for You, Lord, have blessed it, and it will be blessed forever” (1 Chronicles 17:26–27). God used what would seem to be a curse by not allowing David to build the temple and turned it into an even greater blessing by having his son Solomon build the temple. Not only did David have the blessing of beginning the preparations of a great work for God (1 Chronicles 22:5), but the promise that the blessing of God would continue to the next generation. As a father, there can be no greater peace than to know God’s blessing will be upon his children after they are gone.

My fear is they will pack the court and add DC and Puerto Rico as States ensuring a blue Senate for generations to come. This will leave 45% of the Nation without a voice or representation, and that is when the war starts. This

I disagree with this slowly becoming a socialist country. We have been on this slow path for years . If they made 2 more states and pack the courts then they will never lose control with Out a war. Unless they run this country like California from day one people will get use to there policies.

The closest thing to Moses, today, just got busted paying the pool boy to screw his wife. The pope is a communist bastard. A large number of priest are abusing kids. Muslims, who worship the same god, are blowing themselves up and chopping off heads. The jews are still waiting in christ.

Who are you to say those folks in Waco weren’t decent, god fearing, people? Are you going to believe what the media has told you? Surely not.

This is pointless. You probably believe strongly in your book. That’s fine. I don’t have an opinion really about your book. My moral compass is still fixed, I’m still extremely conservative, and I despise the evil left. I do believe in good and evil...trust me, I’ve seen it all personally. I love this country. I’ve seen the entire stinking world. We have something special here and I’d give my life to protect it.

I’m sick of seeing people use religion as a reason for inaction.

I do believe strongly, and it appears contrary to what you say, you have a strong opinion on it also. And all I am saying is my belief in God is not an excuse for inaction. To the contrary, it reinforces a call to action. I can tell you, Falwell Jr. has nothing in common with Moses. Read up on Moses and you will see. Whether you believe what you read isn’t really relevant to the discussion but would be good info for you to make informed comparisons with. Also, there are good pastors all over America teaching their people about Biblically ordained justification for civil disobedience (read Romans 13), so not every congregation is made up of woe is me sheep.

What I know about the people in Waco is if they were following a man who claimed he was the Messiah they were wrong, regardless of whether they were good folks or not.

We are in trouble as it is with the politicalisation of Covid-19 and it’s economic implications that will take more than Trumps 2nd term to overcome.

If the Democrats do the clean sweep with the POTUS, House and Senate, I could completely see a secession happen. We are simply too divided.

America as we once knew it is already gone regardless of who wins. The COVID will never go away and it’s going to be used by the globalists worldwide to push the Great Reset and reconstruct the world.
Just like America changed after 9-11 and never went back, the COVID will be the same way.

I think we further adopt our status as Cultural Dissidents and begin to AGGRESSIVELY disrupt and agitate the Establishment using our natural advantages as tax-paying, law-abiding, gun-owning producers. We have to embrace that we as TRADITIONALISTS or CONSTITUTIONALISTS are the modern-day counter-culture and start making every-day transactions really painful and confrontational, as they have done. On social media, at the office, at our schools, where we shop, etc. Embrace your honey badger, be fearless, offend and agitate for effect, and give them the shite sandwich they gave us, but worse. ALSO- allowing them to experience a certain amount of actual LOSS would be effective. Let them feel that for a change. The pain of losing something they hold dear.

If you are a Christian, then you do acknowledge that everything is God's will for a greater good. However I do agree with

The left has absolutely used god as a weapon against most of you. The churches are nothing like they were in the early 20th century.

You're right on. I despise this idea. These are the same idiots that want persecution to happen so the church will grow and be authentic but then wont go to church/are okay with churches closing because of a glorified Chinese cold.

Dont be dammed anti religious idiots!!! People of faith don’t want that future any more than you. Quit shooting at allies, fool!!!
