If someone told you 8 years ago...

When Obama was elected with a ridiculous amount of political capital that 8 years from that time we would have Jeff Sessions as AG, Mike Pence at VP and a legitimate shot at nominating 2-3 conservatives to the SCOTUS, what would you have said?
Oh yeah...and that Donald J TRUMP is our next Commander-in-Chief.

Eight years ago we were told the republican party is dead. Just a month ago we were told there would never bee another republican president.

I would have said that he failed in his socialist policies like I thought he would.

I'm as giddy as the next guy... but now it's time to hold the feet to the fire.
At least I hear a lot of Republicans admitting that they must deliver... and that's heartening. We have to do our part and drive them.

I would have said that it took 4 years longer than I expected it would back in 2008.

Remember all the liberals masquerading as independents saying that the Republicans had to evolve and reach out to various minority groups to be successful? Trump showed that you can win by appealing to Americans, not having a different message for each Balkanized group. Donald trumped hate!

Not sure about 8 years ago, but I prognosticated DJT in July 2015.
