Trying to expel him would show the Senate believes their voice is more important than the voice of Alabama. The allegations are known prior to the vote, and if he wins, then that's that! Deal with it!

I don't care if the vote is unconstitutional or not and if it's successful or not whether the vote fails or overruled in court. Optics count and it needs to be done to prevent Democrats from successfully capturing the high ground like they're doing right now with dumping Franken and Conyers.
