And the President should not interfere with that and I think he likely won't. In fact, if I were him, I would've said to Roy that if you want my endorsement and support for this election, you will have to accept that you will be on your own against a potential expulsion vote.

I don't care if the vote is unconstitutional or not and if it's successful or not whether the vote fails or overruled in court. Optics count and it needs to be done to prevent Democrats from successfully capturing the high ground like they're doing right now with dumping Franken and Conyers.

Look, we just can't go on and on about the Clintons being sexual abusers and talking mad shite about Conyers and Franken and then ignore Moore and not doing anything to get rid of him.

In fact, I think the threat of expulsion is what helped some republicans on the fence in Bama eventually vote for Roy Moore as they're not really voting for him but rather his replacement and that's the rationale I would use to vote Roy Moore.

I'm fine with this.

He needs to win to keep the seat away from the Democrats. Then once he gets to Washington, open up an investigation, find him guilty, kick him out, and have Alabama send a more qualified Republican candidate to the Senate several months later.

Did Moore do something wrong? That’s been proven?

Sadly this is happening even though they don't really give a shite about the allegations, its all about getting Roy Moore and the GOP. They know they have another Dem in line for each spot while Moore being ousted means it gets handed to Doug Jones.

He needs to win. Then, be forced to step down. The republican governor can name a replacement until the next election cycle

Mcconnel said today if he won, Moore would immediately be sent to the Senate Ethics Committee where an investigation will be opened.

They should.

Today was all about democrats dumping Franken to get the high ground to beat Roy Moore and if the GOP Senate does nothing, it will be a brand new sequel to the War on Women and I say frick that shite.

Roy Moore is a liability and will be just that if he wins.

Lucky for me, I’ve consistently defended those people and if the people of Alabama want Moore as their Senator then that’s their business and not the Senate ethic’s Committee’s.

No, that would be subverting the will of the voters for the sake of playing politics and optics. That’s about as unamerican as it gets.

As there should be, but bowing out without an investigation , or proof is just beta, and we don’t need no more sheep in Washington..

Do y'all really want to set this precedent?

Dems just set it in stone and the ball is in the GOP's court. They don't have a choice.

When they have solid proof and the sourcing and corroboration is pretty much well put together and doesn't leave much wiggle room, hell yes it does.

It's not like the Senator would be going to jail, He would still keep his pension and retire early and that's a pretty good gig if you ask me.

The smart thing to do would be to repeal the 17th Amendment.

Without this, none of this would even be an issue.

No it hasn't. But voting on record to expel him would be the republican style of virtue signaling.

There's plenty of Bama voters pulling the lever for Roy Moore just because of the expulsion possibility.

They would be voting for his replacement.
