He won FLA & OH in 2016, and Ohio has trended hard red since then, it should be safe next week.

If Trump wins both states, who is at danger of flipping and losing him the election?

If Trump loses all three of his upper-Midwest upset wins from last time (Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania), that would knock him down to just 260 electoral votes.

He needs to snag at least one of those three.

I got Trump at 250 with out the rust belt.

That's no Pa, Wi, Mi, Mn,

That's without AZ, NV

If Trump gets PA, NC and AZ it's ball game. He won't even need MI/WI

Minnesota will go to Biden

Trump needs all of the Sun Belt (AZ, NC, FL) and at least one of the rust belt (PA, MN, WI, MI) and he will win re-election.

I have a question.

In 2016, who did Gary Johnson take votes from, Hillary or Trump?

The electorate is always evolving. While people constantly bring up red states turning purple/blue no one really brings up the blue states trending purple/red.

WI, MI, PA used to be solid Dem states and we looked to Ohio as the swing state.

Looking at MN the last three elections:

2008 - 10.2% dem advantage
2012 - 7.7% dem advantage
2016 - 1.5% dem advantage

I'd say there's a good chance of MN flipping this year.

Is Florida, Ohio, and Arizona even considered “in play” anymore? Those are lead pipe locks in my mind.

I would say Florida and Ohio are locks but I haven't kept up with Arizona.

Does anyone find it strange that last election immigration was one of the front and center issues. Now it's rarely discussed. What the hell happened? Not to mention Trump is polling very well with Latinos. I believe Nevada was stolen last election but may go red this time as well as Arizona but who knows with all of the demographic shifts.

I'm having a really hard time seeing Trump lose. Everyone is freaking out over the early voting but those people were locked in and 99.8% probably would not change their vote and republican early voting is way up and most will be like me and vote day of.

2016 Florida was the swing Trump needed. Late in the night, he got it.

If Florida already looks solid for Trump, then this thing is a blowout. Ohio would be a no-brainer.
