Booker isn't divisive like Trump is. He simply has different views on government than many.
That said, I don't think he's ready to be president and he may never be. The others mentioned are non-starters. Biden would be the nominee if he wasn't as old as dirt, he might still be.
Biden is as good a man as you'll ever find in politics, but he wouldn't be my first choice to win the nomination.

Alabama elected a democrat for senator.

I think that had more to do with the fact that he admitted to dating teenage girls when he was 30, "but got their mothers approval first" than anything to do with Trump.

But go ahead and keep thinking a Booker-Harris ticket could win a national election.

I still think Trump/Webb would have been far better than Trump/Pence.

Agree. Pence is the Deep State man in waiting. An empty suit place filler for when they JFK Trump. Then Romney runs/wins in 2020 and carries out the plan for 8 years.

God I hope I am wrong.

You could see a Corey Booker, Kamala Harris, Joaquin Castro type of nominee and, looking at Trump's approval numbers and 2017-2018 election results so far, they'll likely win.

It's like you paid zero attention to the voting demographics from 2016.

Nah, I vote for the candidate that best represents my ideals and political philosophy.

When Hillary was the nominee to replace a dem president against a guy no one thought had even a chance of winning? When the election was won by a guy with 3M less total votes? Yeah, not putting much stock in 2016 demos, personally.

I'd venture to say that we're going to see voter enthusiasm from the center and left like has never been seen before. I know I'm on a Trump board but, I'm telling you, the anger outside of the Trump bubble is without comparison, even compared to the right with Obama. 55+% disapproval consistently...this guy is not liked by most Americans.

Glad you agree with me. Hillary should have easily won based on this premise.

What does total votes have to do with the presidential election?

Neither did the democrats.

There is no trump bubble. There is a very real, and documented, liberal bubble.

Again, which is why we have Trump as POTUS.

He doesn't have to be. He just needs to be liked by enough states. Again, which is what happened in 2016.

But by all means, keep living in your dream world and ignore the reality of the 2016 election.

I hope Pelosi hangs in there for another 20 years. Long enough for the DEM party to become a bad taste in everyone's mind.

There is absolutely NO way the Dems put a straight white male at the top of the ticket (maybe VP but not prez). Can you imagine the outcry from their base? "He's a fricking white male!"

Modern Dems are all about identity politics and not about finding the best candidate. Running a white male to them would be akin to southern Democrats running a black male in the 50's. It won't happen.

They will not let a white man win the nomination, even Joe Biden. They are hellbent on nominating a woman which if I had to guess they will put the thumb on the scale for Kamala Harris which would be a dumb move.
