After Braun and Dobbs is there any doubt EPA is going the right way too?

What if they strike Chevron down in siding with West Virginia?

I'm sure this noted admirer of government institutions will not question the authority of 1/3 of the federal government.

would be awesome, but they've already been ignoring it this session so I mean it's already better than nothing. this would be icing on the cake

I didn't even think about that. Dear sweet baby Jesus let that happen.

In Trumps response to today he said that despite what the left is trying to do your rights as Americans are being protected.

Monday gonna be like Christmas. The tide is changing and the curtains are being lifted.

Agreed. I don’t see it happening, but that would be awesome.

There are still seven Supreme Court cases left to decide before Thursday. One of them is West Virginia vs EPA.

West Virginia is suing the EPA because the EPA is trying to create laws and enforce them. The problem is that Congress makes laws. The EPA (and other agencies) act based on who the President is. That’s not how our country works.

Specifically this case concerns climate change madness but it goes even further.

If the Court sides with West Virginia, the days of a President just making laws via whatever agency are over. You want a law requiring schools to allow boys to use girls bathrooms? You have to go through Congress, not via DOE edict or the USDA not reimbursing schools for free lunch.

If/when they rule against the EPA, it will go a long way to neutering the Deep State.

I see the court siding with WV 6-3, but Roberts writing some squishy opinion that stops short of setting a far-reaching precedent. So be it. A 5-4 precedent setting opinión works just the same, as with Dobbs.

The SCOTUS is going to tell Congress with this opinion to get back to work doing the job the US Constitution adequately describes as theirs alone.

I’m super happy RvW got smacked down but IMO the EPA case will have an impact on many many more citizens. I hope they get bitch slapped. The administrative state needs a good and hard check.
