If Democrats ran candidates like Lamb all across the country, they’d be unstoppable

The guy pretty much ran on Trump’s policies. He was pro-tax bill, pro-tariffs and pro-second amendment. However, I think the Bernie wing has taken over the party and as long as they continue to run far-left candidates, Republicans can keep control of Congress. Lamb pretty much ran on issues, rather than just being against Trump, which has been different than other candidates the Democrats have been running.

Most potential candidates that share platforms with Lamb are republicans.

Yeah, Lamb pretty much proved that Trump's policies + an attractive candidate = a winning formula.

This is impressive spin after the guy for which Trump campaigned just lost a district that hasn't been Dem in forever.

Exactly, which is why the Democrats will continue running far left candidates and why it’s a mistake to label this as a referendum on Trump. I dare say that Lamb’s platform was more identical to Trump’s than Saccone’s was.

If the Democrats ran more Jim Webb and less Maxine Waters, they would be unstoppable

Lamb is actually a Republican. Former Marine, and prosecutor - law and order.

He'll be voting on Trump's side.

I am currently in PA-18 and I had trouble telling the two candidates apart just based on platform.

It's not spin.

Lamb supports Trump's steel tariffs, stronger penalties for heroin dealers, the border wall, the Trump tax cut, and is a huge supporter of the 2nd Amendment.

Does that sound like a contemporary Democrat to you?

But they're hitching their wagons to candidates like Harris. Looking at Lamb and Saccone as a total outsider with very little rooting interest, I wouldn't be upset with either on the surface.

That being said, Lamb will likely break left when it matters so frick him.

It is spin. This thread wouldn't exist had Lamb lost. This entire place is trying to put makeup on a pig.

This particular election doesn't mean a ton with respect to the midterm, but it's certainly not a good thing either.

Lamb favors stronger background checks, raising age to 21, and banning some assault weapons. He personally opposes abortion but would vote to uphold Roe v Wade (abortions in first trimester)which is the position of millions of moderates. He supports the union movement.

Conor Lamb is a classic moderate. He pretty much reflects most of his district.

Lamb could not win in many liberal Democratic districts, but he can win where he lives.

Dems are too stupid to realize this.

Mid terms will be interesting.

Dems are running Republican establishment/CIA candidates in something like 30% of the total races.

That is not going to jibe well with the SJW gender fluid immigrant lovers.

If Russia is smart, or Bannon is smart, they will stir up massive shite online in everyone of these districts.

Running a bunch of Lambs is going to piss off the gays and illegals.

Well maybe the Democrats with brains don't like a tax bill that increases our deficit (our kids will pay for this!).
