If Beto were a minority would he have more support?

When I close my eyes I can’t tell much difference between him and Obama. Same communication, message, and even cadence. Why doesn’t he receive more support? Would Obama have been president if he were white? Was his platform what got him elected?

Dunno. Spartacus is having a hard time getting noticed - and he has a few legitimate accomplishments on his resume (turning Newark from an unmitigated s-hole to a somewhat functional city, working across the aisle to pass the First Step Act).

Probably not. I mean it’s not even racist, but he won presidency because he was black and could speak very well. Now that you mention it Beto and Obama Are similar in some ways.

I’m not sure I believe Obama has that much better game. He has more support in writers and from the media. There are several instances of him being at a loss for words, uncertain, stammering...particularly since trumps election.
