Would this help prevent cheating or 9th hour shenanigans ?

would it help prevent the politicians from getting re-elected so easily? (because they won't pass term limits)...Chuck U Shumer is now in his 6th term...30 years going on 36 years, good golly!

does it make them work harder?

we have to make a change because this system is flawed big time

if it would help, how would we go about this?

even we got 50% to change to independent, I think it might make a huge impact...

impact on media?

All candidates should be listed as independent. No more political parties listed on ballots. You should have to research who you are voting for not just blind pick an initial behind someone’s name. How about that.

In Georgia, we already have this in that you don't register to vote by party.

Well, the parties will never surrender

so the people will have to be the ones to take action

Good golly you're a butt sometimes

it's a hypothetical question with "we the people" in mind... I am not okay watching America remain so divided while the politicians wreck everything great about our country...

So every voter in Georgia is unknown which way they will lean towards a candidate?

Or is it optional to reveal your political preference?

Only way to do that here is in our primaries (you request a ballot for a particular party)
