If a future Democratic president signed reparation taxes into law saying that every WHITE taxpayer must pay a bit more to ancestors of slavery to right America's wrongs, would you pay?

I never owned a slave and my family wasnt here during that time. So i get a reprieve right? Or is this just a straight racist tax on whites?

It wouldnt be a separate tax per se.

They would just print the money and run up the debt like they always do.

Such a law would NEVER pass muster. Hell, even the 9th Circuit would declare it unconstitutional.

That jerkoff in Hawaii would probably rule in the government''s favor, but he'd be overturned on appeal.

It is impossible under our Constitutional system to impose a tax based on race.

I'd happily pay reparations directly to any slave I've ever owned.

If anything, they owe me.

One of great-great grandfathers owned slaves, but they must have been crappy workers because he died broke and didn't leave any descendants any money.

I want what's owed to me, dammit!

I would support, taking all Foreign aid, especially that which we give to Israel, and spreading it out to the negro population descended from slaves, and doing this every year over the next 20 years, then cut the funding after that. Who is with me?

I'd support giving any negro who willingly gave up their passport and took a taxpayer funded flight back to Africa $100K in tax payer money to help them ease back into their lost life in Africa.

Hell, reparations are already being paid... It is called the Earned Income Tax Credit and the Additional Child Tax Credit and every other credit the government has put into place to make sure that people that do not pay in get something back from those that do pay in...
