Of course, $100K is nothing to Elon if he wants to pay the application fees for Habib to come here and take jobs

I wish Trump would just end the BS altogether, unless we are truly brain-draining the best of the best from other countries, but we don't need more hotel and gas station clerks

If they are for America first, then they should have no problem.

I think this would be a bigger hit for the Indian guy that owns a bunch of restaurants bringing a bunch of Indians to staff them.

The 100k up front price tag makes it a little cost prohibitive at least

Elon said he would fight anyone to the death to keep his Habibs

Vivek told us all that Americans are fat and too busy watching football so we need some more people who don't wear deodorant to offset that

Yea Meta is literally offering pay packages worth $100 million to AI engineers. $100K per year isnt going to deter them

I'm really hoping that this will be applied to existing H1B jeets, and not just new ones.

I love it. Honestly though, if an employer is willing to pay $100k more for an employee from another country then we need to get our shite together

Now tax the offshore employees that are employed by American companies. More and more of the major O&G companies are opening hubs in Bangladesh

It makes it where the H1B worker needs to be a damn valuable employee that is mission critical and companies are going to have to think hard if they need to import that person of the job.

Off topic a bit, but I took a short uber ride in Salt Lake City a few days ago and that Indian(?) smelled AWFUL! I didn’t tip and I reported hm for “Driver Conduct” because there was no way to explain what the real problem was.

My wife and I ate in a good Indian restaurant in Amarillo and our waiter was American, not Indian. That might be a first for me. It is possible for some of the employees (at least) to be American.
