Which is only 2 btw, I'm not a gun person, but I have a pistol and a 12 gauge, each with at least 1000 rounds.

and I will happily turn them in. Everything

The SECOND you guarantee me that the millions upon million of guns in criminals hands have been turned in and secured.

Point of this post, to get Dems to understand one simple thing -- gun control HURTS the GOOD PEOPLE and HELPS the CRIMINALS.. Period.

You want to make LAWS ----- newsflash, criminals don't give a frick about laws. That's kinda what makes them criminals......................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Are any of you Dems obtuse enough to not understand that if someone is fricked up enough to want to kill multiple people..... they will. Be it a gun, a knife, poison gas, a truck, pipe bombs, car bombs, suicide bombs, pressure cooker bombs, axe attacks, acid attacks..... fricking anything.

Making it illegal for a law abiding citizen WILL NOT keep guns out of criminals hands. Do you Dems truly not understand this????

Are you aware that just ONE frickING MONTH AGO --- the FBI was tipped off about this kid........ and did not follow protocol.

Don't you think that is the issue??

How about this........run some autopsy's on all of these crazy fricks........ I'm guessing each and everyone of them is fricked up on some type of prescription drugs. Maybe we should start there?

It is not about the guns, it is about the people. Sick people want to hurt others..... guns are easy yes. But what about this, if guns are not available, something else would be used. If someone blows up a football stadium.... that is 70,000 - 100k......... that is a lot more than basically all gun mass murders in history combined...

Focus on the TRUE PROBLEM, the media sensationalism of this, the sick twisted society we now live in, and in this case - the fricking government not doing its job to protect the people.

I get what you're saying, but even then it'd be a no for me.

Even in a world without guns, people are created differently. My wife is 115 pounds soaking wet, no way she is going to fend off an unarmed 250 pound man. Hell, I'm 170 pounds and I wouldn't stand much of a chance.

I love law enforcement, but when life and death are decided in the next few seconds the police are often minutes away.

A gun is a great equalizer, especially for women and senior citizens.

^ Another overlooked factor.

LINK

quote:

By comparing criminal victimization surveys from Britain and the Netherlands (countries having low levels of gun ownership) with the U.S., Florida State University criminologist Gary Kleck determined that if the U.S. were to have similar rates of "hot" burglaries as these other nations, there would be more than 450,000 additional burglaries per year where the victim was threatened or assaulted. (Britain and the Netherlands have a "hot" burglary rate near 45% versus just under 13% for the U.S., and in the U.S. a victim is threatened or attacked 30% of the time during a "hot" burglary.)

Another 1.5 million hot burglaries annually, with around half a million threatened or attacked, could be a hell of a price to pay.
This likely translates into other criminal categories as well.

I wish the right wing and the left wing would focus on the real reason for mass killings, mental illness. Every time there is one, and they're getting more and more frequent, the left calls for gun control and the right wants more guns.

Two stupids don't correct a wrong. On the left, it would take extreme gun control to keep crazies from getting access to them. That is not noing to happen in this country. We have as many guns as people.

On the right, requiring every teacher, factory worker, college student, etc. to pack heat might stop a mass shooter in his tracks (after he kills a few people) but it guarantees more one-on-one shootings because every road rage incident, verbal fight, etc. could easily escalate to a shooting.

Why don't both sides priortize identification of mental illnesses as a solution to most of these horrible mass shootings? We once were able to identify the craziest in our society. Why can't we go back to that?

Dems know this, it’s about power for them. Most want the people that don’t think like them, dead...Think about that for a second...It’s not about the guns, but the control!!!!!!

It doesn’t have to be “every” one.

Speaking of stupid. You know how many people have concealed carry permits and don't do that stuff? Concealed carry permit holders have a better record than the police do

I never understood this wild west mentality. Mutually assured destruction exists.

I’ll give mine up when the entertainers and politicians give up their armed security and tear down the walls around their homes and uninstall their security systems.

I already did. I turned in my pop cork gun last week. That is the only one I have, I swear.
