If you poll a sample of the population, you can sway numbers through mass media, which clearly is not subject to factual accountability. Be done with it and all parties are on equal footing.

When you really get down to it, what’s even the point or benefit to joe blows out here like me? The the campaigns and parties and such do their own polling not disclosed to the public. A poll should play no part. Just vote no matter what. And if you know of others being too lazy, go snatch them up and tell them they’ll regret it very badly should they not vote against the left in November and not vote for Trump one good time or two if necessary.

What would be even better is if people were properly educated to think critically about the meaning and role of polls. We need a population who can dissect information and put it in context.

why not just ban mass media? It's a terrible idea. No different than the government wanting to ban "misinformation".

We’d be better off if politicians didn’t have any power.

If all of that is necessary to attain accurate comprehension of a poll that is only half the size of my computer monitor, yet still takes all that to avoid potential negative consequences to voters at large, then maybe it is a questionable practice as it exists in its current format.

Yeah, that's just what we need is another law that bans polling. Doesn't that restrict freedom for those who like to take polls? What we need is more informed people to not vote the same losers into office and don't pay attention to fake polls.

Why would you like to take a poll? Does your poll count and can it be exploited?

I am in my 50s. I've never been asked to participate in a poll. Curious how many on here have?

I moved to the Memphis area 5 years ago, from BR. I constantly have NOPD or BRCC dialing me up for feedback. I still have my 318 number.

We would be better off if election rigging and stealing were illegal.
