I think we under estimate the number of brainwashed sheep in this country.

I do not see how this country can survive. Too many brainwashed sheep.
I went to Target to get some batteries as its right across the street... Target still requiring masks. decided since I was just getting batteries, I'll go in anyway, and while they said nothing as I walked in, they would not let me wait in line to checkout without a mask. So, I told them I will be taking my business to Wal Mart, which dropped its mask mandate.
So I go to Wal Mart, no mask mandate for the last 3 days, and I was the only one in the entire store without a mask. I didn't see another non mask wearer until I was walking out the door. I even took my time to see if I could come across someone else not wearing a mask - nope. I saw plenty of face shield + mask combos, however. And its not like I still live in Seattle, this is Northwest Las Vegas, the most red part of the area.
Let's face it, too many people have been brainwashed by our media and government and will blindly follow any of their orders in the future. You really think people will hold onto their guns if the government says to give them up? We're screwed.

Who voted for Biden. Because she was brainwashed by the MSM over COVID. She believed that it was all Trump's fault because he didn't care and tried to pretend it didn't exist to win re-election and if we just elected someone who cared, it would be over immediately. She actually thought Biden being President meant COVID would be over as soon as he got in because we just needed someone who cared and would not downplay it.

We might have the same aunt, I have an aunt who pretty much did the same thing.
However once it was clear that Biden wasn't going to be able to snap his fingers and go back to normal, she was filled with regret.
At least she is repentant now and didn't vote in a state that mattered.

I see with several friends who have taken the vaccine and even though the CDC came out with what they said, have said they will continue to wear masks.
They are so afraid and have no clue they were mind fricked by the left, the very left they support.

A large number of the people you perceive as “brainwashed” are simply too content with American life (which is the most comfortable existence in human history for the vast majority of our citizens) to risk rocking the boat.
Americans have more to lose from massive social upheaval or societal collapse than any group that has ever existed.

I saw reddit leftists saying the main reason they will keep wearing a mask is so no one thinks they are a Republican

I think wanting to go with the flow is a major part of it.
My sister is blood red conservative who is working as a travel nurse currently assigned in Manhattan... I went to visit there last summer and she kept urging me to wear a mask even outside just so I wouldn't get hurt because according to her people take politics VERY seriously there. She also told me to keep my mouth shut about anything political and to hide any support I may have of Trump, for my own safety. Group think is a real problem.
I stopped wearing masks even in stores that required them a while ago, and over the last couple months I never got any Karens saying anything, but today I got more dirty stares than I ever have. I think now that the masks are no longer required, these idiots are doubling down on masking and are more aggravated that its no longer required so in come the dirty stares.

The "programing" is pretty easy, especially when the ones doing the "programing" control 90% of ALL media. Not just TV News, or press clubs. Hollywood, magazines, web sites, internet providers.., local news and papers. I mean damn it, that is a pretty formidable force being used against the "sheep". Hell, we are "cattle" to "them", which is still above "sheep".
Facebook, developed by DARPA, was well aware of the power of "likes", when the Zuck crew were allowed to play front man for this social media platform/influencer.

The ones really fighting the good fight are staying home to stay safe. They shop on Amazon for batteries, baw.
The ones out in public wearing masks are virtue signaling. It's nothing more than a status symbol at this point, and in their minds, they are on top of the moral high ground.

In those major metro areas, yeah, it's still full-blown Masked Covidian cult. Even a few of the smaller cities in central OK like Shawnee and Stillwater still can't let go.
Outside of that, you go into businesses and restaurants in many of the smaller surround towns and cities and you get to the segment of population who never bought into the bullshite in the first place and now maybe 30% of people (at most) are still wearing masks.

My mom's husband died back in November and her brothers/sisters from the Northeast flew in for the funeral
My mom lives in rural Texas and one night we went to a small cafe for dinner and you should have seen the looks on my uncle and aunt's faces(both from NYC) when no one in the cafe, not even the servers or staff, were wearing masks.
My uncle called my cousin the next morning to rant about how mask rules aren't being enforced in Palo Pinto County, TX.

That's basically the sense I get as well. It's not so much that you can't convince people of all the BS and lies, it's that they think (hope) it doesn't really affect them and that it never will.
Americans go along to get along. About 20-25% are free-thinkers and liberty-lovers. About 20-25% are the scary "all-in" true believers. The mushy middle just likes going to WalMarks and Kroger and Target and buying whatever they want. If WalMarks says you won't be allowed to purchase anything in here without a RealID implant from your local approved Bureau of Good Behavior, well, that's just what they're going to have to do.

Talking about how conditioned people are with mask wearing…I’m driving through downtown KC around the hipster Light and Power district and all these young people are walking around with masks, riding bicycles with masks, skateboarding with masks…..it’s just weird at this point.

Agreed. I often see references to the silent majority but I tend to think that day has passed. It was certainly true at one point and may still be. But with the youth being indoctrinated in Marxism the tide is turning rapidly. When you look at how many people turned away from Trump’s policies because of his personality then you know that priorities have changed. I don’t want to discount that Trump increased his vote total from 2016. He did well there as was expected. The X factor was a newly engaged radicalized youth vote coupled with comfortable idiots that didn’t vote for Trump because he’s OMB. Policies be damned.
