I don't get on Facebook much but hopped on for a minute tonight to see if my buddy's kid was born healthy.

Right below his post was this fundraising post:

Reunite an immigrant parent with their child

quote:

We are raising money for RAICES (https://www.facebook.com/raicestexas), the largest immigration legal services provider in Texas. For years, RAICES has been working with some of the most vulnerable members of our society to ensure they receive advocacy and fair legal representation. They have two key goals at this time: directly fund bond to allow parents to reclaim their detained children, and ensure legal representation for every separated family and every unaccompanied child in Texas' immigration courts (last year, 76% of kids (over 13,000!) did not have representation)... Andy ******* and 403,334 others donated.

This random "charity" on Facebook has raised $15 million from 400k people in 18 hours.

WTF?

It is amazing what people will pay because of their hatred for Trump and need to signal virtue.

Why not raise that money for homeless American citizens? Starving black kids in the inner city? Disabled vets who live under a bridge and spend their days holding a cardboard sign? Kids born with deformities? Kids with cancer?

Mind boggling.

I mean, good for those 400k people for giving money to a cause, but the propaganda behind this whole fake outrage makes it seem tainted.

These are the same idiots who gave $500k to a disgraced and fired FBI agent who is possibly facing criminal charges.

fricking libtards.

(yes, I am pissed I did not think of this idea first)

And this is the person these people are giving $16 million to:

What a fricking world.
