I still don't know a single person with China Flu

This is a New York City problem, not a nationwide problem. New York is seriously like half the cases and deaths. Wall up and shut down New York already, and open the rest of the country up.

It's also a New Orleans problem too.

I know people who know people who have cousins that have Kung flu.

Two friends of mine in Denham have it.

I know someone who has died from it

2 days ago I found out I know 1 person and he is 76. He immediately got on the Malaria meds 2 weeks ago and is getting better.

Me either, but I know people that know people. So knowing people with the virus is next for me.
New ORleans is really starting to get the national focus that NYC got last week so it's obviously getting worse.
HLN had a reporter in NOLA and a segment with a mom from Shreveport both on the morning newscast.
Stay safe out there everyone.

This is about as fricking stupid as the comment someone made a month or so ago about "call me when we start having deaths here". This shite is everywhere and has been for a while.

If you were in charge it would be a national problem

Well it's really hard to know for sure with the flu and the virus running along side by side presently and being told not to come in for a test unless you have one foot in the grave.

It's true I have heard a lot about down in New Orleans. But it seems pretty contained there too. It hasn't even jumped the border into Mississippi, which is crazy if you think about it

I’m up to about 10 now. I’m over it.

Hopefully you wont.
In Kentucky it's 1:8,900 or so with regard to infected cases vs. total population.
Kentucky is the 26th most populous State, so most of you in the South have a much larger population, and subsequently less chance you know someone with the virus.

I did not. I haven't been paying attention to board whores that closely lately.
Thanks.

I know five that contracted it, and none live in NYC.

I know several in suburban/rural louisiana.

How about you put this in context. How many people have you been in touch with the past 3-5 days? Just because you do not know of someone you know having the virus, does not mean you don't know anyone with it.
I can make the same exact claim, but I also realize that the only people I have spoken to over the past few days are employees that are still working, immediate family, a few cousins, and close friends. With this social distancing, I keep up with a much smaller group than I normally would have. So, I have no idea who in my usual group, or extended family may have it.
