I purchased a Springfield 1911 .45 cal pistol. I can't wait to get it to the range. It's a beautiful weapon.

Love the 2A. Congrats on the purchase and hope you enjoy it.

The 1911 is one handgun I am wanting to add to my collection. I was in the market for a .45 and was actually looking at 1911's when I ran across the FNX 45 and ended up going with that instead. Biggest reason I went with the FNX was for the double stack capacity.

The next .45 will be a 1911 for sure.

A 1911 variant is my go to home defense weapon. Love it.

Springfield just released their version of the browning hipoint. It’ll be my next handgun purchase

If you are new to firearms let me suggest getting some snap caps.

They allow you to handle the gun without the danger of firing nor the damage of dry firing.

I did not grow up around guns so they helped me practice before I went to the range.

Which is why I went with the H&K VP9 SK; grip is completely adjustable

I have a Colt 1911 70 series MkIV government model made in 1971. It's been fired 7 times. That's my dress up weapon for church, weddings and stuff like that.

1911 is a fine piece designed by the master himself, JMB. Next you will want to check out the Wilson Combat cat for some needed accessories.

I have a 1911 and it’s definitely a solid American staple, but for ease of use and cleaning, I love the striker fire.

Agree....my accuracy improved at least 30% and I'm not sure if it's totally due to the size of the SK (with adjusting the grip) or if it's just a lot better firearm than my Glock 17......or both.
