Yeah, Rahm-- the guy who won the U.S. Open -- was smoking the field in Ohio at Jack's tournament, forced to withdraw, then also withdrew from the Olympics. I see WSJ has an article about the science, but it's behind a paywall.

A close, dear friend and her husband both caught the China flu back in January. Took them to the end of February to recover. They then got the Moderna vaccination. Mild symptoms from the second shot. All's well until the first of July when they both got the China flu AGAIN. Missed work, lost sense of taste and smell while very sick for about a week.

Hasn't there been a professional golfer who has had to withdraw from 2 separate events months apart due to Covid?

I’m not fully convinced our testing setup isn’t improperly sensitive. People are testing positive weeks (even months) after they cease showing symptoms.

If we had an accurate test we would know for sure.

Now...if having Covid once produces antibodies, why did they catch it again?

Maybe they had the flu in January, the test can't tell.

it changed.

viruses change.

remember flu shots?
flu viruses MUTATE.

the covid Mutates.

viruses that change so the host dies immediately rarely become pandemics.

the virus randomly changes.
if it changes enough your immunity to other versions does not keep you from getting sick.
maybe you dont die.
the big benefit of current vaccines is that less people get very sick.
few.
comorbities folks

Their antibodies were far superior to the VAX.

It would appear that neither was particularly good

There is no true research. There are people saying all kinds of nutty things and people saying get the vax because they know such and such that died from covid.

I’m starting to believe the so called delta variant was also cooked up in the wuhan lab. They saw cases bottoming out and people returning to normal and they just couldn’t have that

Which is why they released delta

I’ve got a number of friends suffering with covid. I’m glad I got the vax.

Same here BVIV. Late 40's with wife (no pics) & 2 boys 14 & 10. If it wasn't for my family I'd definitely never get the vaccine which I doubt more & more I'll ever get anyhow. Part of me is ready to leave this world behind & hopefully get through the Pearly Gates. However I'm gonna do my best to raise my family the same way my parents raised me & let the chips fall where they may while the world crumbles.

The unspoken “wtf” is about people who were at risk of Covid 18 months ago because of obesity or being critically sedentary that have not done something about that situation over the last 18 months.

This is one of my main arguments. It is really unbelievable. Most people are worse off now and fatter because of the original lock down.

I got my first shot today..... I’m 30 and healthy and personally don’t think I needed the shot but I have a pregnant wife that is high risk and her OB, a dr I trust immensely, recommended I get the vaccine.
Literally almost got cold feet and walked out twice, but did it anyways. At peace that I made the right decision.

They obviously didn’t get their booster shots. The vaxxed have to revax every few months because there are so many heathen non-vaxxers.

I had COVID in December (just now regaining smell), vaccinated in March. This past week I took a family road trip and my 15 year old daughter developed a fever (3 days), back pain, cough, and loss of smell. Naturally she tested positive for covid. She’s better now. I was in a vehicle with her for more than 1000 miles while she had a fever, and I don’t have the first symptom and have also tested negative. It worked for me. Also, I am still a strong positive for IgG antibodies.

What I can’t figure out is my wife, she is not vaccinated, has not had covid (confirmed with antibody test), and she doesn’t have the first symptom and is negative 7 days post exposure. She didn’t catch it despite being in bed with me when I developed a fever in December either. I can’t figure her lack of covid catching ability out at all.

I’ve heard the vax doesn’t add a layer of protection to natural immunities/antibodies, but actually weakens it to the new synthetic immunities, they probably would have been better to not have gotten the vax after having acquired natural antibodies

Currently, my oldest daughter and 2 of her kids tested positive for Covid at her house. Meanwhile, at my house, have an 18 & 21 year old grandson sick, both positive. My wife has been caring for them, she had the J&J shot a couple of months ago and remains negative. Meanwhile, I am 64, no shot, have been around both grandsons, but still negative, at least no signs of any issues. I am not trying to catch Covid, have been diligent about washing my hands, sprayed Lysol around the house, but with no shot and most of my family sick, you wonder if I have built in immunity or I am just damn lucky. My wife now wants me to get the shot, but I still have reluctance. I guess we will see over the next few days how it all turns out...

I begrudge no-one who wants the vaccine but have largely taken a wait and see approach personally because again, these were emergency authorized, never yet approved. It’s more or less a gigantic trial run for all who are willing.

But when I see the increasing coercive measures and stories designed to evoke fear being applied ....and at the same time see our borders flung open with not even the least concern expressed with regards to Covid and those coming through......

Those are two completely opposing dynamics currently at play under the same governing entity and the glaring inconsistency between the two I’m finding difficult to resolve in an understandable and satisfactory manner.

That’s why though I’ll never dispute that Covid is very real, the political aspects are what’s primarily driving this versus any real “science”.
