I appreciate the sentiment, but Antifa and their ilk are neither Nazis nor Fascists

I just keep seeing this bandied about. Typically it is in relation to their suppression of free speech, their intolerance of any ideology but their own, etc. It is frequently stated, parroted and upvoted. While their methods may be similar and the symptoms manifest themselves in similar ways, they are Very different. I had two great uncles who fought for the US in the pacific and a great grandfather who was Leibstandarte, 1st Waffen SS on the eastern front primarily, though he also spend considerable time in France in 1940. Let me assure you all that regardless of what your feelings are on the SS, or even the Nazis in general, he was unapologetic and spoke freely of his experiences. They would have stacked bodies like cordwood long ago, and not of American patriots. These BLM thugs, Antifa, and their like would have been toast. The brown shirts battled Antifa in fierce street battles for years before Hitler’s ascendancy. The comparison is apt in certain ways but is fundamentally wrong. Just an argument for historical accuracy, downvote me at will.

If that’s too long for you to read, Antifa and the real Nazis employ almost identical methods, but most patriots and America first nationalists would have infinitely more in common with Hitler’s brown shirts than they ever would with the leftist insurgents. And if you think otherwise you are stark raving mad

And you have yet to put together a logical argument proving otherwise.

All you are saying is, “if you think blah blah blah, you are crazy!”

And thanks for proving everyone’s point about them being very similar to fascist.

Yes, I think they are and derived from the communist party! They are just basically anarchist now. Just burn it down, hate, discontent, riots and violence!

Perhaps look into the reality of national socialist economic doctrine rather than viewing the now New York Times owned history channel propaganda. If you are more informed than I am assuming I apologize and always welcome an informed challenger, a good debate Is a passion of mine. Nazi germany nationalized industries who were taking advantage of government subsidies, in certain cases gave them to new caretakers, and constantly sought to return the industries they repurposed to private control. There is a reason they were the most successful economic triumph over the shortest period of time in European history. Admittedly I am more sympathetic to their cause than most owing to family allegiance but I’m also not talking out of my arse.

Sometimes bad men are needed to punish worse men my friend. And I would never argue they weren’t bad, but I believe their enemies were perhaps worse. We see the fruits of the victory of the allies today. They are not without their virtues, but goddamn this reeks of a society rotten to its core.

Classic communist gaslighting. Take issue with something I said. Challenge the facts. Come at me bro, I won’t give ground to your ilk and unlike you I don’t need to lie.

Oh interesting. People like your grandfather rounded up people like my grandfather in Czechoslovakia or else burned down their farms if they didn’t fight on their side. His mother had no idea what happened to him for 6 months until he was allowed to correspond.

So yes. Based on what I am seeing and the stories MY grandfather has told....I see a shite ton of similarities. It isn’t the ideologies being compared....its the tactics.

So? So maybe our traditional parties aren’t the answer to dealing with the massive part of our nation that doesn’t believe it deserves to exist. Maybe we need a party that brings together good and god fearing citizens of this nation in league against our enemies who seek to destroy us and will not stop in their attempts to

There is a high likelihood that he was involved in the very action that inflicted such pain on your family. I’m in no position to apologize for his sins but nonetheless I offer you what apology I can in the name of my family. He often told me things that disconcerted me, perhaps the most disconcerting was that they were not punished for opting out of war crimes as is popularly supposed. They could say no with little consequence and they chose not to. I wouldn’t want to answer for his crimes at the pearly gates. I’m just saying that his was a natural response to what we’re seeing now, it’s just that there are too few of us to answer the call

You will have a hard time getting past the einsatzgruppen, the death camps, working people to death/starvation before you get into any Economics issues.
That Master Race shite sort of a hard thing for most folks to deal with. Half my family is German, but they got out of Germany long before that shite.

I’m not asking for an apology. My grandfather thankfully lived a very long life.

My point is we are seeing the same types of tactics by the some of these antifa members.

Maybe in Germany but the idea is American. We just didn't take it all the way like those lunatics did.

And mine is that strange times forge strange alliances. I would be willing to bet you that you and I have more in common than we differ on. I would rather stop the people my great grandfather warned me to always stop (Marxists) than play about with niceties and let them do to you what my people did to yours
