I am pro LEO, but the Miami PD killed 2 innocent people yesterday due to incompetence

They couldn’t have handled this a better way?
Not only did the cops just spray bullets into that truck aimlessly, they were taking cover behind SUVs full of kids!

I’ve got a couple of cop friends. You should come ask them. They are in Florida. Doubt you’d do that though.

I don't know the details, but I was absolutely, badly disheartened to learn the UPS driver was killed. I mean, this is a hard working person, leaves for work, maybe kisses his spouse goodbye, and that happens.
Worse, and I am a huge proponent of the police, but the news I was watching said something like "but thankfully, no officers were killed" or something very similar. It was a terrible way to present that fact.
Of course other than the perps, I wanted no one to die. But if I had to choose one OTHER person to die that day, I would not have chosen the UPS driver. As much as I respect, and even revere cops (I work with them)… they sign up for that risk. Citizens do not.

It definitely needs to be investigated. Why they didn't set up a roadblock earlier is a mystery. Seemed like they had plenty of opportunity to direct the car to a stop before that busy intersection. Cop cars were even used to prevent people from crossing the median!
