I admire the 4Ocean group that is cleaning up the ocean

But not for the reason you think.
I dont know if you have seen their ads, you buy their bracelet and the money goes to clean up the ocean.
So these two guys decide to hang out in Bali, Thailand, etc. They form an NGO and probably got funding from the UN,World Bank etc. They then get enough bucks to pay for labor to clean up the beach and make the bracelets to boot. They then sell them to SJW for 17 bucks US.
Love the ad, "Every bracelet you buy goes to clean up a pound of trash", okay on a Vietnam beach thats about 15 cents US in labor cost, What about the other 16.75US and the millions you got from the UN?
Im serious though, these fellas figured out a way to capitalize on SJW and the Green Deal, make millions, and hang out on some of the best beaches in the world. Kudos to them.
In case you are wondering, you can get on a monthly club plan and also save the turtles, whales, and my personal favorite the poor starving Polar Bears.

It’s funny that they had to go all the way to Indonesia to find all the trash to get inspiration to save the oceans. Especially seeing as they lived in Florida and have been around beaches their entire lives. It’s almost as if America isn’t the environmentally evil one side of the aisle claims we are.

What’s a shame about organizations like this, and PETA, and the Sierra Club, and others, is that I’d like to back efforts to clean up trash, and protect animals from abuse, etc, but most of these organizations have been infiltrated by the radical left, and I won’t give them a penny. It’s made me suspicious of all of them.

I quit the United Way in 1971 for the same reason. Not to long after I stopped contributing, they were busted for scamming.

Thought the same thing after I saw it a couple of times.
The best part is that they are so in your face about it.

The greatest promoter of all is the guy that names a star after your girl friend if you send him $50.

And it is a scam that you can run yourself.
The IAU doesn't name stars after people and doesn't recognize any names other than their catalog numbers.
So make up some official sounding organization, create a website, facebook site, etc and let the money roll in.
