Because of the likes of Liz Cheney, and it's as simple as I don't want them getting their way. If the elites would have just ignored him I'd basically be supporting DeSantis for 2024, and every time I think I'm ready to move to team DeSantis, they pull me back to the Trump Train!

I’m never leaving the train, and if recent events haven’t codified Trump, then you ain’t paying attention

I do the same thing! Start leaning towards DeSantis and then they come gunning after our Great MAGA King and I lean back towards him.

This - if they hate him so much it’s a given that he’s exactly what the country needs

In case you haven’t figured it out yet, the goal has always been to separate Trump from his base. You know what you’re left with when you abandon him? The Jeb’s, Romney’s and Cheney’s of the world.

Agree. I want to see Trump nail those POS and clean house.

He has exposed all the crap. He, his family and business have been relentlessly attacked and harmed.

He deserves and earned the right to finish the job.

dont be a sucker.

the entire dem/proggie/media/establishment is pulling for ron to create havoc and damage trump.

they scared of trump

they are not scared of ron

its that simple.

if ron runs, they win.

stop being led around by your nose. ron has plenty of time to prove himself as a candidate in '28.

We use YTTV and “TOP PICKS FOR YOU” today are 1/6 hearings on channels I never watch. They are trying really hard to make it stick.

This is why I don't understand how the Trump vs. DeSantis thing is such a topic of conversation on this Board. A lot of you are letting the trolls, the never Trumpers and the sowers of discord get into your heads. Let them talk amongst themselves.

They tried separating Trump from his base for years, still added 12 million more votes, which will probably grow a lot in 2024, especially in this economy

The question is when the jump is made to Desantis, not if. Within six months Desantis is going to poll ahead of Trump among Republicans. And he's never going to look back.

Never pass up an opportunity of a lifetime....

Outsider that doesn't care to make money off his office is an unheard of combination. We can't have such short memories!! Besides, now he won't have to worry about re-election. Can you imagine the winning this time around?

bunch of weak, limp wristed 'men' in this thread.

the RNC will never allow trump to be the candidate. never.

you're helping them.

when they pull the rug out from under him for [insert better-than-trump candidate here] and trump goes third-party the election is lost.

go ahead, mark my words. desantis running in 24 will be the end of everything.

but keep on pushing!

I'm not seeing that. I like what DeSantis has done and how he governs. He's proven himself so far. My support from Trump is mostly a reaction to the way they have gone after him and his supporters.

You've spoken like someone who lives in Austin.

You think once BDR starts hammering Trump, MAGA nation is going to say "yea it's cool, we'll vote for you".

Cool. I'm still voting for Ron if he's on the ticket.
