I recall several of you Baws unhappy about his appointment - I don’t recall which of you - but I’m assuming you guys were military and thus had some on the job experience with him. My recollection of the criticism was his gloablistness and establimentness.

I am not even that upset. He is a neocon at heart. The timing of this is a bit suspect. But, the powers that be are pulling out all the stops to hurt Trump at this point.

Trump is a "threat" to Capitalism...but Obama wasn't. Capitalism is the economic aspect of Constitutional Principle; I.e., that honest and hard working people can keep the fruits of their labor, and become 'Middle Class', instead of being forced to share it with people who are neither.

Mattis is a neocon. His opposition to Trump, like most of the GOPe, is SOLELY based on Trump's foreign policy realism. They want permanent war and Trump isn't inclined to do that. The language used is simply fluff because they can't come out and say "I hate Trump because he won't give us another Middle Eastern ground war!" And the liberal morons eat it up.

Bet everything I own he voted for Obama twice and Hillary once. He's fairly recluse in his personal life. Never married, although proposed but was declined. Dedicated his life to USMC. FBI and CIA probably have videos of him with Russian hookers.
