How to talk to "normies" about the media

I know many conservative Trump voters who still get easily goaded by the media. They understand not to listen to Rachel Maddow, but when they hear things on the hourly radio news report or other similar sources that are supposed to be considered "non bias", they get worked up and take the bait. The latest false flag event at the Capitol is a prime example, but I could write a book about a thousand other examples.

Get them to drop terrestrial radio and listen to podcasts;
Dan Bongino, Louder with Crowder (whenever he is back), Rogan, Tim Pool, Maybe Shapiro, and stream music.
They can use multiple tools for podcasts; spotify, iheart, apple, etc

If you are getting your news over your phone you can tell the merit of the article by how sensational the headline is. An accurate article only needs a plain headline. An article that is full of shite will have as bombastic of a headline as possible.

Show them some of the DNC emails on wikileaks that show 100% collusion between dems and the media.

Yeah they should just listen to sources that will give them the feelings they want to have.

Ask them if they trust the government.
If they say yes, then your conversation is over if you have any sense.
If they say no, tell them that the media is an extension of the government.
If they then point out that Trump is the “head” of the government, then ask them if they find it odd that he has been under attack by the government (deep state), the MSM, and social media for over 4 years?
If they say no...then the conversation is over.
If they say yes, then ask them if they want to discuss it further. If yes, give them the truth about just how incestuous the swamp actually is. Be prepared to provide definitive examples illustrating the control of the technocrats and swamp rats. I don’t prefer a drip of information. I give them everything. I ask them to read it, digest it, and form their own options.
Free thought and free will.

The use of the word normie is cringeworthy and embarrassing.

1. Every article is a puff piece or a hit piece.
2. When you read beyond the headline and first two paragraphs, you’ll read something that contradicts the story to that point. This is how you know it’s a hit piece, and that’s when you know the front half was bullshite.

Traditional Republican voters, but aren't aware of alternative media and how rotten the media truly is. The word is a little gay, wish there was a better word for it.

There is a huge difference between “news” and “opinion”. This has been blurred by the 24 Hr News Cycle because they can’t have deep air....so they fill it in with opinion. Honest brokers admit it is “opinion”.

This is where I start-
Have you ever heard or read a news story about a particular subject that you happen to be an expert in? (Banana trees, lawnmower repair, deer hunting, dentistry, cloud-tech, real estate, etc). And you think to yourself "well, that's not true, this is incomplete, that's not entirely accurate, this is mostly bullshite."
Apply that thought to all of the other news stories you hear. Especially political subjects.

I think he'll be back in about a week. They took a long Christmas break last year. This year was very rough on him and his family. His wife miscarried and got super sick, lost his rescue dog, and he has his own bouts with depression.

LOL. Most of them are aware of your grift-laden bullshite factories and reject them outright.
How many stupid arse things have come out of your "alternative media" that have not amounted to anything in reality in the past two months alone? Those people have goalposts on roller skates and every time reality doesn't reflect their delusions, you just nudge the goalposts and keep losing because you're pointed in the wrong direction.
