As a GOP back in the day, I remember raising money for a democratic candidate for governor of Louisiana by the name of Buddy Roemer. Bush caused me to become an independent and have loved the silence ever since.

My 85 year old mother asked me to help her change her life long party affiliation from Democrat to Republican yesterday. She usually votes Republican, but never saw the need to change her party until now. Now she wants to vote in the primaries so that she can make sure Cassidy return to his medical practice, or more likely, to his soon to be lobbyist position for big pharma.
