How much longer can the democrat party stay in 1 piece?

I can’t believe they haven’t formally split by now.
They’re obviously focussed on this election, but the progressive dems really don’t like moderates.

Wouldn't be surprised if after the election (and a Trump win) that they will formally split. The uber left will be upset that Biden was the candidate (just like they accepted that Hillary was a bad candidate last time) and will be angry at the DNC at snubbing Sanders.
The factions will get worse.

They are all progressives democrats . None of them are moderates anymore . Has one “moderate” said anything about the defund the police movement ? Or the riots in the streets ? Yeah not one

When Trump wins again and never stops winning, the Dem Party may well split.
BUT, if they can get Biden the WH, the progressives will simply take over the US Democratic Party with no split - it will become a Marxist political party supporting only Marxist candidates.

They don't like anyone who isn't 100 percent on board with everything they espouse.
I heard someone on the radio state it this way: "A 99 in their eyes is now a failing grade."
They tolerate no dissent whatsoever. Very cultish.

In case you haven't noticed dems and marxists are in the same. They always toe the line. They will just become stronger in an effort to destroy the USA..... But little do they know it's a lost cause.

With the built-in constitutional crisis of a dementia-addled candidate. Unless they are a certainty to assassinate Joe (Crisis#`1 - a VP complicit in assassination) then the 25th amendment would seem to apply every day he is led into his office (Crisis #2) is fertile ground for contrived removal by 25th amendment and underlying that for which most of his administration would be suspects. Is there a law against someone else acting as president (crisis #3)

I have been hearing conservatives would split off from the GOPe all my life (that is, since the '70s)

I've heard it said by more than one commentator that the current climate is a result of them being in their death throes

Oh, it was bad in the 60s. The two groups were called 'the Rockefeller republicans' who were moderates who just wanted to get along; and 'the Goldwater republicans' who were conservative/libertarian.
A reference for younger people: Rockefeller would remind you of Mitt Romney. Goldwater would remind you of Rand Paul.
