How many PT folks have worked through the pandemic? Did you get a +20% raise?

I work for a company that was considered essential services so I haven’t been affected by any work stoppage due to Covid19. Got my same old 3% raise in 2020 along with a temporary 10% pay bump for working when Covid19 first began shutting down businesses. The 10% pay increase lasted until October of 2020.
I’m guess my story is pretty typical for people who were required to work through the early onset of the pandemic, meanwhile millions of Americans were laid off and many made more money on unemployment benefits than they were making pre pandemic.
These same people who were laid off in the service sector and other lower wage scale jobs have seen the jobs they left raise starting pay 20-30% and many still are not biting. How does the 20-30% pay increase for lower wage workers affect you?
Every industry that’s increasing their starting wages by 20-30% will do so hoping to entice Americans back to work, those wages are not dropping back to pre COVID levels. For those of us who have worked through the pandemic, well you’re gonna pay higher consumer prices and in essence you have assisted the government in giving the lower skill workers that fabled $15/hr minimum wage you hear nothing about anymore.

You won’t get laid off during the next down turn.

I worked through the pandemic, yes.
With inflation I expect it to wash.

The unemployment of $600/week, assuming 40 hour work weeks, works out to $15/hr.
This is all by design.

Worked through the pandemic and got a raise too. Had to ask for it but I deserved one before the pandemic started. And still working from home to this day.

Yes, I've worked, and no, no raise.

I got more than 20% switching companies in the pandemic as it opened back up. Haven't been unemployed but had a company cut 25% salaries across the board for a quarter.

Anyone with knowledge on how wages reacted after post-Katrina settled down? I know there were increased wages and signing bonuses at fast food places right after Katrina. Did starting pay decrease after things got back to normal?

Same here.
The only thing about my life that has changed since March 2020 is watching people I thought were reasonable and intelligent turn into friggin' idiots.
Some of my family included.

I worked every day onsite thru this thing. 3/4 of our site was remote from March last year until June this year. I didn’t get a raise, I didn’t get any compensation for my efforts, and my bonus was less this year than last despite the company making record profits because operations costs were so low with everyone remote working.
Performance declined because the people that worked remotely spent most of their time trying to justify to everyone they could still do their jobs without having to come into work instead of actually doing their jobs. And management ignored the people onsite telling them performance was declining. (Especially since most of them were working remotely too)
But I suppose in the long run things work out. They’re all now back at work and management is likely to have a big turnover before the end of the year due to the performance decline.

I worked the entire time and for the first time in 12 years I didn’t get a raise.
No one bitched because the company lost money for the first time in 40 years. We were just glad the company leadership pursued clients at 0% profit margins just to save as many jobs as possible.
People learned who they worked for over the last 18 months or so.

My income has gone down.

I haven't missed a single fricking day, minus two vacation weeks, since the "pandemic" began.
And hell no, I haven't gotten a +20% raise.
I would rather see all the worthless fricks who are capable but choose to sit at home drawing unemployment, get off their asses and go to work. Give me that, and I'll forfeit 5 years worth of pay increases.

I work at industrial sites and 5 of 8 US project managers have taken new jobs, market is very strong right now. Go find you a new job that pays you 40-50% more

No raise or pay bump.
Although I did get forced to take the payroll tax exemption which was taken out of my final active duty paycheck.
fricking Esper and Milley cost me over $2,000.
