How many of you would be angry if Trump cleans house in the bureaucracy and state department and all of that after he wins his 2nd term and fires all the Obama holdovers and career entrenched democrats

All of these Ambassadors and Foreign Service people who think they work for Congress, should be the first ones to get the axe.

It’d be nice to clean house. However, you really do need a lot of these people to have a functioning government. Not as easy as you think to find replacements. Plus the replacements you’d get wouldn’t be all that different from the ones you just fired. They’re all cut from the same cloth. DC is full of snakes.

I'd be OK with him getting rid of Obama holdovers in all departments. But I'd rather that he just get rid of half the departments.

He should have fired every single person in the White House, DoJ, and State Department day one and made them reapply. Should be that way anyways.
I know that’s a hard way to get started but we’d be a lot further along on real issues if career beaurocrats were kicked out day one of every new presidential term.
The argument against it is “then we’d never have experienced people.” To that I reply, how well are we doing “with” experienced people?

He’s already 3 years too late. If Trump would have hired a few key people before his inauguration to be the hatchet men on day one of his administration he would have avoided + 90% of this resistance mess. Comey should have been a first day termination.
