How many Americans are getting the message being sent by SCOTUS?

The Supreme Court is trying to tell us that it's in our best interest to legislate our way to a better society rather than litigate our way there. They're telling us to keep them out of the middle of places they don't belong, such as in policy-making and law-making. That's not why they exist.
We must resist using the courts to try to make a constitutional right unconstitutional.
We must resist trying to backdoor things not written in the text into constitutional existence.
We the people must lean on Congress more and lean on the courts and the executive branch less. This is what constructionist justices are trying to tell us. I don't think they can be any more clear, but are enough people getting the message?

I took it as the federal govt doesn’t have the power they think they do

It's what happens when a bunch of lowlife attorneys become career politicians. Litigation is the only thing they know.

AMEN, well said & couldn’t be said any better than that!

5%
Maybe
Most of the rest just think SCOTUS doesn't like abortion and the EPA.
Most people are either dumb or not informed.

It doesn't matter because the legislature (and even the executive) are not actually in control of this country. The media, universities, and administrative state determine what is acceptable and therefore what ultimately happens in the federal government and beyond.

Roo, point taken, but let’s not forget that it’s also attorneys who right the wrongs through litigation as well.
**I do sense that you’re not necessarily referring to all attorneys as lowlifes, although you’re correct to say that many of them are. Just highlighting that there’s a flip side to the coin.

Only the lowlifes...
I recognize litigation pays the bills. Some of them need to stay in their lane, enjoy the money and not be greedy.

But why is the legislature so feckless? Why did we let it happen? They're the ones who plaster themselves all over the media every few years.
Somewhat rhetorical, but that gets to the heart or the OP.

Maybe the US Marshals can remind them about the message
Ask people how well it works out
"Come and enforce it"
They can
Oh and they look after the US Nuclear Stockpile. So there is that.

Apparently the democrat take away is:
1. Mothers are going to get killed from back alley abortions
2. Sea levels are going to swallow the east coast because the epa does not have unlimited power.
Are the other takes?

They’re gonna keep coming at us with a blatant disregard for SCOTUS and the constitution. I truly can see a scenario where a state and feds have guns drawn on each other. I’ve been saying that for some time now and think we’re getting close to seeing it

I mean Clarence all but said bring us cases where the constitution and states rights were thrown to the wayside. I don’t see states pushing the issue on contraception but I guarantee a state will push on Obergefell

Not really my friend, if you were a lawyer you would know this is bullshite.
They are very activist in some areas like religion, gun rights and free speech creating all types of rights that don’t exist in the constitution at all.
And then they are very much strict constructionist in areas like civil rights, voting rights, race relations, privacy rights, (you have none with this court so don’t bitch about government monitoring your texts and emails, they have been doing it for decades buts it’s completely legal now as there are no privacy rights period. )
They pass the buck to Congress on shite they don’t like and then restrict their power on shite that they do like.
i have no real issue with a lot of it because they are also signaling that any law is now fair game and we have hundreds of laws that are bullshite from 1800s that protect multiple national corporations that are now in play. This is the Catholic Court now transitioning from Roberts Corporate Court. If you want to know what they are going to do ask a priest.
Maybe they will make ducking little boys legal too or surely protect the Church from damages etc.

What if the people try to vote based on their beliefs, but the government steals the election because it knows best?
