How long do they keep the Rush name on the program?

It sounds odd listening to it and they keep calling it the Limbaugh Nation or whatever it’s called and keep using sound bites of him. At some point I figure they’ll need to change it and stop right? Find somebody permanent to take the spot and make it their show?

Dick Clark has been dead for years and his name is still on it because I believe the production company still produces NYE.

I wouldn't be surprised if Limbaugh has a similar situation with how much clout he had.

Since all they do is play clips of Rush for half of the show I would say for a very long time.

I don’t know, but I was a lifetime listener, and now, I never turn it on.

I thought Bongino was taking his spot on 5/25?

A year or so would be my guess. I still listen and a lot of the Rush sound bites they play are relevant for current topics.

Only in certain markets. Rush is on EIB and I think Bongino is clear channel

Do you remember when his show announced the Top Hits list?
When I was a DJ I asked my program director: 'Dick Clark has the song ______ as No. 3. It's not even in the top 20 in Cash Box or Billboard. How is that?'

Director: "He owns the label of ________. He's lying to sell records."

Whoever is in charge of coordinating the Rush sound bites and current topics is doing an excellent job.

Walton and Johnson doesn't seem to be changing to Webster and Johnson anytime soon, and they are a regional show. I assume it will always be named after Rush, as he is the most influential talk show host of all times.

If they’re still playing his greatest hits that’s lame AF and the show has been designated for cancellation IMO.

I haven’t listened to terrestrial radio since before the election when I’d happen to be driving when Rush was on.

No, it is far from lame. It is extremely well done, given the circumstances and overall impact of Rush Limbaugh. Have you tried listening to it?

Oh. Well thanks for the uninformed opinion.

The current format has a 'shelf-life' for sure, but for now, is working quite well.
