Now that both houses of Congress are majority Democrat and the POTUS is a Democrat, how long will it be before they decriminalize marijuana at the Federal level?

The House introduced a bill to do it back in December, so I’m guessing they’ll try again pretty soon.

Also, how do you guys feel about it? I’m not sure how I feel. I think we don’t really know all that much about the effects of the long-term usage of it yet.

How much data on long term use do we need? It’s insane it’s still a schedule 1 substance.

It is the very last thing that will be done, if at all by a Democrat legislature.

I’m all for it.
Who isn’t?
Full legalization will likely remain a state decision.

Hopefully it's legalized federally by the end of the year, should've been legalized a long time ago.

Not sure...the politics of drug legalization can be complicated.

Kamala might want to keep the option of locking up blacks for weed should they think of leaving the Dem plantation.

I know plenty that smoke it now.

They aren't in the middle of the grocery store doing it. They don't hang outside the elementary school doing it. They aren't throwing their bong water on the nearest cop. I got little to no problem with how they are doing it.

That said, I would not want to be in a warehouse with them driving a forklift, or put my kids on a school bus with them driving....

Biden is going to disappoint a lot of the potheads who voted for him. He’s 100% behind the prison industrial complex

You are already doing that. Not to mention, most are zonked out on legal prescriptions.

I think this year. They’ll leave it up to the states for a couple of years and then they’ll dictate forced legalization.

But this is also contingent upon pot industry donations to politicians
