How exciting will be the Texas’ Secession
Posted by SlickRickerz on 6/21/22 at 2:11 am5132
Will 2023 be the year? What’s the chances I can be a Louisiana political refugee in Texas, I’ll gladly sign up for the fight. I have some unfinished business with the alphabet boys.

If they leave I would assume ~26 other states would follow, maybe more.

If Texas is going to play the role of Ukraine,
who is going to be supplying it billions in high tech weaponry?

Well doesn’t Texas Instruments make the majority of chips for weaponry? With them being seized, maybe we’ll just fight like WW1. Install some napalm on a crop duster.

They have a steady supply of fighting aged men AND women coming across the border.

Not that I wouldn't like to see this happen, but it will never happen nor succeed.
IF it did happen, I believe it would set off a movement of other states joining. I don't think federal goverment would use military, but would attempt to isolate these states and withhold federal aid and not allow travel out of these states. We could survive down south with agriculture. ports, and most of the refining and chemical plants.

Probably about as exciting as the ice storm that Texans survived so well because they have their own electrical grid and proved they are prepared to go it alone.

I'm a Texan and would love to see this happen, consequences be damned. The federal aid that would be "whitheld" from Texas, is way less than Texans pay in. A quick search shows Texas citizens pay around $260B in taxes, and Texas receives $40B in federal aid. Along those lines, we'd be pretty well off. Not to mention, we have a Lockheed Martin manufacturing facility, a Bell Helicopter manufacturing plant, Texas Instruments and quite a few other military organizations. It would be a HUGE struggle for Texas, but I do believe it would be a manageable amount of headache for the long term gain.
I'd love to see the whole Bible belt separate in all reality. Although, I don't believe it realistically ever will happen.

Drafting every one that crosses the border would probably put a stop to the migration.

I mentioned in another thread about this, that the old Mason Dixon line would be a reality again. Not sure about Georgia tho. If another revolution occurred, it would end differently. What's the old saying? "South will rise again!"
The current state of affairs, it wouldn't take much to set it off. That's what the Democrats don't understand. They continue to do what they want, be damned the rules or appearances, and dare anyone to stop em, not understanding eventually..... taxpayers will fight back. The second amendment didn't state the right to bear arms was for hunting, but "being necessary for a free state...".

We have no Sam Houston and too many Bush acolytes in Austin.
And if it left us with Abbott as Pres I wouldn't want it to happen.
