How does Big Tech benefit from placating to China?

I don’t understand it. The country doesn’t even allow their people to access their platforms. I see so many posts about the basically being in the CCP’s pocket but does see how that would make them $$

They don’t. They benefit from stability.
They need america to just keep cruising along. Countries in turmoil don’t buy the latest iPhone 372762 or impulse buy sweaters off Amazon.
They need you to sit down, shut up, and consume.

Rare Earth elements.
Without them, Big Tech doesn’t exist as it currently does.
China controls 70+% of the worlds accessible supply (they are everywhere, just not in abundance enough to make it financially feasible to extract them).
In the US, the Molycorp mind was our main (only?) supply source. I believe it shut down due to a consent decree concerning environmental issues.
IIRC, Myanmar was coming online as a source.
However, China supplies Big Tech and therein lies a major point of influence.

Almost free Slave labor for their products and money for thought control

I think that was why there was talk about Greenland, wasn't it? Supposed to be a lot of rare earth elements there.

Big Tech gets big contracts from FedGov. Trump could put in place a Sec of Defense, for example, to decide not to sign contracts or give to a competitor.
Big Tech also has huge contracts to manage defense networks and in defense contracting. Trump wants peace, not war. War is good for business.

China has over 1 billion people and lots of money. They can make more over there than they can here.

The mark of ignorance is being so obtuse that you can't see past what's presented to you.

Big tech relies on China to make the tools needed to access their platforms.
Apple phones as well as many others are made in China. Tablets, many computer components, TVs, firesticks, etc are also made in China

Like all delusional liberals, the big tech companies fail to realize that China has it's own vision for a New World Order and it doesn't include liberal progressives in the U.S.
China's main problem is energy supply and if they are ever able to solve that without U.S. dependency, then they will nationalize all of the manufacturing entities within China and market the associated products as they see fit and the silly tech companies will be wondering WTF happened.
The Communist government in China has more capital that all of the tech companies combined. The Chinese government knows that the U.S. will eventually default on its debt so they are spreading their influence throughout the world by investing their vast resources in hard assets. China is basically beating us at our own game, capitalism. They are able to do this because they manipulate their currency and trade relations in general, steal technology and have a huge amount of capital controlled by a small number of people, the Chinese Communist Party.

Downvoted, not because you're wrong, but because you arrogantly believe that Liberals don't know this already.

You have to look at the whole picture.
Many American companies benefit from artificially cheap manufacturing from China. Those companies pay money to advertise on these platforms.
China invests lots of money into big tech, so they have skin in the game as well.
Many establishment politicians are financially motivated to turn a blind eye to China. Politicians can potentially regulate social media so there is a self-serving interest in showing the new administration and Congress that they don't need regulating.
Beyond that, China is an untapped market for many of these companies. I'm sure they'd like to have a firewalled off China-only version of their platforms.
