How did Journalism and Media get to be so one-sided left?

How, why and when did Journalism turn so abruptly left and even extreme left in the US?
Did all of this start with the silver-spooned baby boomers and drugs of the 60's and just snowball from there into professors and other institutions, especially Ivy league and such? Or does it go much deeper than that.
I can't wrap my head around the present state of journalism and media in this country that refuses to present both sides of a story and focus on the facts like Cronkite became famous for.

80% of MSM were educated in East Coast private schools and universities. Not hard to figure out their biases against the rest of the Country.

The same means by which the schools were taken over, as well as Hollywood. BY DESIGN.
It is how you subvert a free nation, by re-educating (subverting) Americans, especially the young and impressionable, and especially especially the young and impressionable from a dysfunctional or non existent nuclear family.
It’s been a slow but methodical erosion of America that has taken place over the years. You can’t do it overnight. You have to erode those values over years and generations until you get the desired result.

Democrats have been brainwashing people since Johnson. The fruit of that elevated when Bush was elected in 2000, and we have been shoved left hard ever since.

Most media outlets pay peanuts and get kids right out of college when they are still leaning left and have been brainwashed to be left by academia. True seasoned professional journalists are hard to find these days. Plus, by the time they are veterans, they are lazy and follow the same pattern for every story that all reporters do.

Follow the money.
Most of what you consume is controlled by a handful of people.
What you see/hear is carefully crafted to generate revenue for corporations. Anything that gets in the way of that is to be maligned.

Its been that way for decades, journalism is one of the keys to Marxism being spread.
It got worse in the Cable tv era, and the Internet killed off any real journalism we have ever had.
Its a clickbait model, news outlets post outrageous stories to get emotional people to click.

The communists started trying to "wow" American academics since the 1920s. They were dim enough to buy in to it. Leftism became the way to appear thoughtful and above the mainstream. That spread to this day.

Because its no longer about the truth. They have also been welcomed in with open arms by the elite inner workings of the progressive/democrat party and are part of the 'cool' gang and get to socialize with the elites and they aren't going to do anything to jeopardize that. They all exist in this delusional bubble that is the swamp and have no real knowledge of how the world really works.
