That's because Democrats can blow it up and use slavery as a talking point..in every election, to continuously incite outrage. Normally by trying to convince black people that anything wrong in their lives is because of white people and slavery. ..and the only way to fix it, is by voting Democrat.

We as a country wrote a lot of the checks that helped both those countries overcome.
For the record Germany has not overcome the stain of killing 6 million Jews. Look at the lack of freedom of expression on certain topics in that country.

Why admit slavery is a sin? It has existed since prehistoric times as a viable economic component of almost every society.

A shite ton of American taxpayer money.
Japan should thank their lucky stars we dropped those two bombs on them. If we had invaded, tens of millions of them would have died, and every city, town, and village would have been like Stalingrad. The entire country would have been razed. The Soviets would have likely ended up occupying half of the country, making it commie. There would be no chance that Japan would be the economic powerhouse it is today if it wasn't for the a-bomb.

Three reasons:
1. America helped.
2. Japan was populated with Japanese people.
3. Germany was populated with German people.
I know 2 & 3 aren't popular with the melting pot crowd, but a sense of homogeny certainly was a catalyst in their recovery.
