They voted for Hillary as a continuation of Obama. And yes, the majority of voters voted for Hillary. You guys are in the minority.
Wow what a dumb response..See people like this is what worries me..

Please explain how half the population still votes for anti american, race baiting, white hating democrats..
How is this wrong..? This is litterally exactally what the democrats stand for...They talk about how evil the white man is all the time...Its a broken record..See Nancy Pelosi...They are racist so they can get votes and keep blacks on the plantation...However, alot of blacks are waking up...They are starting to see how they are being used...

This is absolutely dead wrong. Americans liked Obama has a person by the end of his office, especially when he was juxtaposed to the two people running in 2016.
However, it is absolutely FALSE that Americans wanted a continuation of his policies or were happy with his performance.
According to 2016 exit polls, huge majorities of Americans (60%) thought the economy was poor and the nation was moving in the wrong direction.
Hillary won the popular vote because trump alienated a lot of people who live in states that were already solid blue.
His biggest gains were from areas that went for Obama. The midwest was not happy with the Obama years.

Long answer, but here I'll give it a try:
1. The Republican Party, in the 90s and early 2000s, was mostly defined by telling people what they could NOT do.
* No on gay marriage
* No on abortion
* No on drugs
Of those three, the first one became the quick and easy "paint the GOP as evil" concept. Why deny two consenting adults the right to get married? It was a hard thing to defend denying.
The third, though, is why African-Americans tend not to vote Republican - and no, this is not a race commentary implying that black people do more drugs. Don't be that guy.
No, the simple fact of the matter is that a person of color who was caught with drugs was way more like to serve time in prison than a person who is white. There are a million studies on it, so don't try and plug your ears.
Now, did Democrats really do anything to HELP that plight? No, they did not. Not really - not in recent times. It was the Republican party, though, that really pushed through tougher drug laws during the "War on Drugs" in the 1980s, and pushed for making marijuana illegal previously (the drug most often cited in drug busts).
2. An image problem. The Republican Party is not racist (as I pointed out in another thread), but they do have supporters who are not only racist, but scream at the top of their lungs about the evils of other races while holding aloft pictures of Donald Trump. The loudest voices get heard, not the most common ones.
3. Old school Democrats. Ones that voted for them because they are considered things like "pro-farmer", etc.
4. And, of course, posts like yours. You're not REALLY interested in knowing why a person would vote Democrat - you make that painfully, obviously clear when you cannot finish the first sentence without insulting the people who vote that way. Especially when you claim "anti-American" - you slam the door shut for any attempt by another person to explain to you their actions. It would be like me starting off this entire post with, "I'll answer your questions you moronic, cousin-slamming, butt-chugging mouth breather." Would you waste any part of your day reading anything that came afterwards?

From watching polling numbers since the 1990s, the bedrock number of Democratic voters is always around 40%.

Actually, more than half.
Less than 40% of registered voters are registered Democrat. Less than 30% of registered voters voted for Hillary.
You failed math in elementary school

Their livelihood depends on it. I’m willing to bet at least 30% of that half of the population is on some form of government assistance, 10% are democrat elites, and the other 10% are illegal immigrants and people that are no longer living.

Its simple, ugly women, loser men, and those dependent on the government. Ever had some minimum wage earning a-hole take pleasure in running you through the mill at the airport, game, event, etc? These people are mad at their lot in life and love having someone to blame. They also love feeding a government that punishes achievers, and/or normal well adjusted people.

Cause for the most part, these are the folks that pay no income taxes, live on entitlements and want you to support them 100%

I have many intelligent, well educated friends that vote Democrat. In just about every case, they love the idea of an authoritarian government that controls most aspects of our lives: healthcare, speech, religion, education, economy, etc.
That is because in theory they actually believe that EVERYONE should have the same access to everything.
So the poorest of the poor should get the best surgeons.
The poorest of the poor should get their kids in the best schools.
The poorest of the poor should make what they call a livable wage.
But if push came to shove and you asked them if they would want to wait in a waiting room with 100s of the unwashed at their doctor they would respond "No".
If you don't them to school would be on a lottery and their kids have been picked for the school in the hood while we will bus kids in to the Brand new school they would say "NO"
If you asked them if Kawanda working at Burger King should make as much as their lawyer they would say "No"

Because millions of them are illegals committing voter fraud, the others are 3rd and 4th generation liberals who’ve been indoctrinated with this stuff since birth. No difference than a terrorist that only knows one thing, you take away the freedom of choice early in a child’s life and they can’t grow up to be any other way.

I wonder how you idiots keep buying into the mantra of voting for one of the major parties regardless.
Both are filled to the brim with politicians who don't give a shite about the American public. But you keep thinking your side is better than the other sweetheart. Naivety is cute in it's own way

Just be honest.
I honestly did not consider it a flame. Maybe we should take a poll. Are Trump supporters bothered if they are called Trumpsters? Of course I can't start it now.

Illegals, dead people, and using buses from precinct to precinct.
Oh, and people who live off of emotion rather than logic, reason, and biological facts.

They have no skin in the game, they have zero net worth, they pay no taxes, getting ahead means getting more form the government.
