How bad is the TDS? It's so bad the Dems don't want the bags of $$$ Trump wants to spend

As you may recall...back during the campaign, Trump talked about America's infrastructure issues and that the USA should have the best, intimating a willingness to spend money on it.
Since winning in 2016, he's continued to speak about this and has invited the Dems to join him in the effort.
There's even an infrastructure bill sitting in Congress.
Laborers, states, union members as well as public transportation would benefit.
Yet...NOTHING. The Dems won't move the bill because they don't want the bad orange man to be able to deliver on a campaign promise.
In the meantime...roads and bridges crumble.

Democrats aren’t the opposition, they are the enemy.

Democrats are just using basic political gamesmanship.
The real question is why the GOP couldn't put an infrastructure bill on Trump's desk on literal Day 1 of his Presidency.
-Tax reform
-Healthcare reform
-Infrastructure
-Concealed carry reciprocity
-Legalized marijuana
-Criminal justice reform
GOP would have gained 50 seats in the Midterms. No need for debate, no need for wheeling and dealing, they had every opportunity to cement the GOP as the party of 2020s.
Instead, a large contingent actively worked to oust the President, kneecap him at every possibility, and screw over their own voters at every opportunity.
Ask yourself why there wasn't a laundry list the GOP had written to run through when they regained the Presidency.

Just look at the leftists that post here. Do you see any that are decent people with a slightly different view point? It seems just about every single one come across as a dishonest piece of garbage that will lie daily to push a narrative...
Modern leftists are simply bad people.

Yeah I decided to do a little checking into this situation, and Im afraid it's complicated. Deficit problems and marshalling the necessary fundage, current policy issues that'll make you just want to get back in bed. The feds currently give monies to the states, at which point states in many cases arent rehabbing things that need it most. Fed dollars for supposed infrastructure are pouring out as it is, and we're far from a situation wherein the fed govt could easily coordinate a huge national infrastructure project.
There's a whole lot of green initiatives included in the proposed bill as of now, to the tune of billions that category just in and of itself itself.
Cliff's....funding and workable policy are a big hurdle right now. I guess funding was more certain a year or two ago, but much has been diverted elsewhere. That's how Im reading it anyway.

We have no problem spending money on bridges and roads. What we don’t like is spending $10,000 on a fricking toilet seat and lacing every bill with pork to bribe constituents, the military industrial complex, rich cronies, and Wall Street.
But you knew this before you posted your attempted gotcha.
So eat shite, loser.

A quote from your OP:
quote:Which is not true. Also, This year Trump first said he wouldn't do infrastructure while he was being investigated, and then said he wouldn't do it unless he had an immigration bill.
Since winning in 2016, he's continued to speak about this and has invited the Dems to join him in the effort.
Blaming the inaction on the Dems won't work.

While he is being investigated...
Who is investigating Trump?
Unless he has an immigration bill...
Who is dragging their feet on an immigration bill?
