Today on the George Stephanopoulis show. Timely! Thank god somebody is willing to finally honor John Lewis, because as we all know, nobody said a word when he died 8 months ago.

The left has the most ridiculous heroes.

Racial division sells and they are running out of new material

Exactly. There are so many other black national heroes that will never get any attention. In this day in age, politicians are the prominent figures that we must highlight. It’s ridiculous
Thad Cochran in Mississippi has like, thirty buildings with his name on it. All he did was transfer our money to different projects. It’s not like he did it with his own money. Not to mention, he was alive when around 15 buildings placed his name upon the facade. He must have really liked that. No humbleness whatsoever.

Today was his birthday.
He would have been 81.

Lewis never drafted 1 piece of meaningful legislation.

How many people in his district did he lift out of poverty?

Outside of his immediate office & campaign staff?
I'm betting zero.

Never forget that it was the white liberals of the Occupy Movement that silenced John Lewis, a man who genuinely lived in a time with racial strife and unequal rights for black people.

Lewis was just another minority politician who made a great life for himself by telling his minority constituents they had no chance because of whitey.

By the 80's, John Lewis had accomplished enough to warrant memorials to him in DC. By the time he died, he'd thrown it all away with corruption and race hustling.
That's kind of what has happened to civil rights in general.
